With data for all six days of convention coverage now in, FOX News Channel has the highest average ratings among Total Viewers (5.337 million) for combined coverage of both the Republican National Convention and the Democratic National Convention. The channel's extremely high ratings for coverage of the RNC were strong enough to overcome its sixth place finish for each night of the DNC to result in an overall top average rating, outperforming not only CNN and MSNBC but ABC, CBS and NBC.
NBC had the highest average rating over the six days among the key news demographic of adults 25-54 (1.940 million) , though it's somewhat of an apples-and-oranges comparison given that NBC did not air any coverage on the second night of the DNC, and made up for it by airing a second hour on night three. FNC came in second among Adults 25-54 (1.420 million.)
MSNBC had the lowest 6 day average among Total Viewers (2.972 million) and Adults 25-54 (1.012 million.

Republicans sure love those fair and balanced voices of good ol’ fox news ..
Too bad total viewers mean zilch. I guess those KKK conventions don’t teach about how to read ratings though.
Oh yeah! Fair and balanced for FNC. During political conventions they have one of the most unfair and unbalanced guys. (Hannity) Fair and balanced boys!
Coming to a city near you if Broke Oblamer wins.. Tear down the top and look like this..http://thegatewaypundit.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/obama-unemployment-line.jpg
Suikostinger
Hannity doesn’t do the convention coverage..Look at the left wing flame throwers on your favorite station MSDNC.. Even the The York Times -Puffington Compost were bashing their coverage as a total Obama love fest.

Did you watch Hannity during the DNC???? He had guests from both sides of the aisle every night, he cut away for speeches, even with his admitted conservitive bias covered both sides. So you kinda sound like Jeffie on this one!
An average of 2.788 million people watched the DNC on FNC.
An average of 1.713 million watched the RNC on CNN, 1.596 million on MSNBC.
I don’t see how the on-the-air presence of Hannity (he was off on Thursday) or O’Reilly leading to the main speeches might have hurt FNC’s ratings during the DNC, but I would have given them the week off anyway (FNC had done that in the past, IIRC).
>>> Republicans sure love those fair and balanced voices of good ol’ fox news .. <<<
Well, if only Republicans and conservatives watch Fox News, expect a Romney landslide in two months.
LAME STREAM media numbers indicate NBC got the lions share of
viewers for the last day of the DNC.
This is not a surprise as only unhinged socialists watch that abomination.
I attempted to watch Obama’s retread speech but projectile sputum forced
me to watch the football game.
Clint Eastwood’s comment that Obama is the biggerst hoax in America
hit the mark.
@Apple Stinx: I think I’m going to give you a new handle: “The Voice Of Reason.” You earned it, buddy.
Obama awarded gun salesman of the year (again) at Smith & Wesson. I wonder why Obama didn’t trout this out as job creations?

Based on the consistently low ratings day in and day out of HLN, CNN, MSNBC and the alphabet networks, it’s no wonder the left, far left and super left are losing network after network after network. They hate that Fox gives all sides a shot and they demand that everyone support them, yet cannot find the time to support any of their own vomit vehicles. Now CNN is reorganizing, Current TV is on the verge of BK and Air America cease to exist.
sour grapes guys
no one that’s “no one” can beat FNC! ROFLOL
Hey Sara, you forget that MSNBC and NBC are one and the same.
NBC/MSNBC drew 42 Million viewers
Fox News drew 32 Million viewers
Also, NBC by itself won the Demo.
So I watched on PBS, were these ratings available? Or does nobody watch PBS but me?
@Sara Bibel
Good job! Nice to have one page to get all the info.
In 4 years AppleStinx can use this page to remind us of the numbers.
Fox News is actually Fair and Balanced. the only people that think it is not are the kool-aid drinkers that get all of their talking points and information from dopey Letterman and MSDNC
This is an excellent ratings chart. I think most people are sick of politics and are ready to vote Oblamer out of office. the conventions are just pep rallies for the people that are already voting for the candidate. The speeches from the Democrat Convention were shrieking and extreme. the most entertaining part of that convention was the vote for God. They denied him three times.

Right. If I’m lucky enough not to be banned from the site before then.
