LEXUS SIGNS ON AS HALFTIME SPONSOR
OF NFL NETWORK’S THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
Lexus has signed on as the title sponsor of the halftime show for NFL Network’s Thursday Night Football, it was announced today.
The Lexus Halftime Show will originate live from inside the stadium for each game in NFL Network’s newly expanded 13-game Thursday night slate. It is the only NFL halftime show based entirely fromsite. Thursday Night Football kicks off this week (September 13) as the Chicago Bears visit the Green Bay Packers in the most-played rivalry in NFL history.
Lexus will also offer a Thursday Night Football Challenge, as well as presenting sponsorships across broadcast, digital and mobile platforms, including NFL.com’s popular Game Center feature.
In 2011, Thursday Night Football averaged a record 7.3 million viewers (including over-the-air stations in competing team cities) – up four percent from 2010.
Thursday Night Football will be streamed live on NFL Mobile from Verizon and will feature companion programming on NFL.com and digital products.
