    GALLUP FLASHBACK: MONDALE TOPS REAGAN…

On average, the polls slightly overestimated Obama’s strength. The final polls showed the Democratic ahead by an average of 7.52 percentage points

Seventeen of the 23 surveys overstated Obama’s final victory level, while four underestimated it. Only two — Rasmussen and Pew — were spot on.

These numbers mean that FNC wins the weekly Primetime ratings in spite of finishing last for the duration of the DNC.
CNN, MSNBC and FNC will most likely all finish in the top 10.

Thank you for those stats Doug Z

  • Ralph Hahn

@Doug Z: Was the poll above taken before or after Mondale admitted he would raise taxes during a televised debate with Reagan?

Saturday: Total Day 25-54: Fox wins. Sunday: Total Day 25-54: Fox loses to MSNBC by 1,000 viewers.

If there is a one percent differnace with a 10 percent differance in democrats to republicans polled, the prez has something to worry about.

Anyone that watches MSNBC is pretty bad off to begin with. Really no hope for them.

    debsafan,
Oh, please. Fans of MSNBC don’t need the likes of you and your silly doom and gloom comments in their lives. I am pleased to have my station, so downers like you, from now on, will be ignored. I wonder if you think there is hope for you and are you, great seer, pretty bad off?
