   the drop of the VH1 ratings proves how much America looks trash and ignorance on TV. When you put something positive on the screen(scripted or not)no1 watches. America is nothing but a bunch of empty,brainwashed idiots. I’ll be glad when shows like Love & Hip Hop,etc are canceled forever. Makes black people look like monkeys.

   I think the issue with Alphas and W13 is how late into the summer they’re started by SyFy. Why not start them at the end of May/early June like most other networks with summer shows? There’s less strong competition then at least. I’ve never understood the whole July start for these shows.

   Very sad about Alphas, I love the show this season. I would like to ask two questions though!

   1) When will we typically know the fate of the show? It’s the only show I watch on Scyfi, so I have no clue on how it usually works.

   2) Why does Scyfy premiere it so late in the summer? Makes absolute no sense to me to have it go into the broadcast season, when it will face much tougher competition, leading to an inevitable ratings drop. If it is a summer show, it should start earlie in summer, as all the summer shows. This week should have been its season finale.

    Alphas was pretty good, no idea why they debut it so late in the summer. those numbers will drop in about two episodes when network shows come back on

    That’s still a good demo for S@B but a significant drop in viewers(down 600,000 from last week). I knew the show wouldn’t be able to avoid the network’s week 2 curse. In the coming weeks I will not be the least bit surprised to see the total viewers go down to 1.4-1.5 million and a 0.6-0.7 demo.

    Sad episode for Raw. I just passed by it and found out about the heart attack. I know ratings doesn’t matter in that event. But 1.6 is lower than either show was 12 years ago (when there were 2 competing wrestling shows).

    Warehouse 13 is not going anywhere, for the simple reason that Syfy ordered 20 episodes this season instead of the usual 12 or 13. Which means they can basically hold half of the episodes back and air them after Christmas (or even later, as they did for the second half of Eureka season 2, though I hope they won’t go that route).

    Personally, I suspect Alphas will get renewed for at least one more season, naysayers be damned.

    Alphas maintain 0.5 several weeks and doesn’t fall, so it can be renewed. They don’t have anything to replace it.

    If we’re looking at the 18-49 demo for Alphas it is well within renewal territory as far as SyFy shows go, Heaven was doing this number most of last season if I’m remembering correctly an it got renewed. I guess until we see every digit of ratings for the show we won’t know what the fate of the show is until they announce it, it wasn’t looking good last season either.

    Major Crimes is slowly losing it’s audience. The program is getting more violent, too. Not sure who they are trying to appeal to.
