Im just interested to see how The Voice does once the competition ramps up. NBC fails at virtually everything so when I heard the Voice was moving to the fall season, I expected it to not last long. Hope I am wrong in this case as it is a halfway decent show.

New Normal wasn’t even funny-it deserves to die.

4.2 is very good for the voice, higher than what i predicted…the new normal is not going to be able to maintain a 2.5…i’m guessing it will be around a 1.5 in about 4 weeks without the voice lead in and once the new shows are back on other networks…

LOVE The Voice because they aren’t mean to the people who audition which is so much betetr than the other two singing shows. Glad I dont’ have to bother with them anymore because The Voice fills the void.

How can people call it ‘The New Failure’ when it has aired one episode and had a very good rating for NBC (2.5), how do we know that tonight, it will stay the same or even get larger because of the people who didn’t want to watch the pilot after seeing it online. I personally found the show really funny and I laughed out loud many times but also very heartwarming, I really hope it will last a second season, but with all this negativity from insane people, I doubt it will :(

American-Idol-like success, The Voice is unlikely to reach. Wonder how the ratings will be when regular fall competition arrives.

    People ,
Those were good numbers for FOX , and not bad for NBC either ,
    ++
BTW , I have not watched Bachelor Pad but caught the ending, and thought it was hilarious , going to watch this season via stream over the next few weeks !

  • Joseph A

BTW , Bachelor Pad , much more fun to watch the players talk smack when you know how it is all going to turn out :)

  • Marcus

None of these ratings mean anything for NBC until the competition starts with their new fall shows.

I hope the New Normal rises tonight no matter how mediocre it was. NBC has put out much much worse shows.

  • Alexis

The New Normal is awfully bad. It seems now that the whole NBC affiliates’ circus was a poor PR trick to make this mediocrity look slightly interesting.

  • Doug

I actually enjoyed The New Normal last night. Was it the best show that I have ever seen? No…but it was an enjoyable 30 minutes.

  • steve

I think if the voice matains above a 3.5 all season they’ll be happy with that

  • Anthony Parello (AP076)

The New Normal best not drop tonight, NBC or not.

  • Nick

Wow. I was exactly right in my prediction for The Voice, but sadly almost a whole ratings point too high on TNN and the kitchen shows. :-(

I was satisfied with both the HK and MC finales. I had been rooting for those two since the beginning.
The numbers are OK, but I expected at least 3s for a finale.

All if you The New Normal haters are idiots. This show is the best new comedy on TV.
Again, its numbers are OK. I was hoping for something 3.5+ but this is good for NBC, especially with little notice.

  • DryedMangoez

I’ll bet Parenthood gets the same numbers or a tenth or two difference from either comedy.

  • American

I thought The New Normal was fairly funny, at least to watch on Tuesdays. I’m going to try it, ratings or not, until it’s cancelled or just becomes unbearable.

  • PinoyTvCritic

The Voice is doing like 4 times better than Sing-Off last Fall…

and The Voice will still have good numbers on Tuesdays.

Let’s just hope that the changes on The Voice this season will hold-off viewers…

  • getmilk

I’m so glad The LA Complex didn’t lose too many viewers. I wonder if it’ll ever get more than a 0.3. Hopefully it’s doing better in Canada so we can get a third season.

Here’s the preview for next week’s 2 new episodes:
