Nick finally broke Disney’s streak.
FNC still managed to beat MSNBC and CNN for the week of Democratic National Convention coverage.
GO NICKELODEON! They finally BEAT DISNEY. I told you all disney is only the king in the summer, nickelodeon takes the crown back in the fall. (And this has been happening for years)
Sickelodeon didn’t win anything. Disney channel is currently the ratings winner.
Disney will be back at number 1. Spongebob overload network with no other successful shows.
Not a surprise that Nick is back on top of the Total Day rankings, since this was the 1st week of school which means K6-11/K9-14 (which favor DSNY) can’t watch as much TV, and their younger siblings might watch more in their absence (which would favor NICK).
finally things are back to where to where they used to be (#1 nickelodeon)!
@jamie
you are right disney is the ratings winner (if winning means coming in second place) lol
@Kaylie Don’t hate cause Spongebob overload network did in two premieres what Disney couldn’t do in 6. You Disney fans make a lot of excuses, for example:
Nickelodeon Fan: Why are Ant Farm’s numbers so bad
Disney Fan: Uhhhh… it has a.. bad time slot
Disney fans hate Spongebob because it’s the most popular show on Kids TV and it belongs to Nickelodeon instead of Disney.
Oh and by the way:
Robot And Monster: 2.6 million viewers
Ant Farm: 2.4 million viewers
@Twist of Fate 2.0
I agree with you 100%. Face it disney fans, your time of joy is over! LOL.
I can’t wait till You Gotta see Saturdays.
I mean really disney, “Monstober”? Girl Vs Monster? Who are you trying to impress? That movie will bomb, just like Ant Farm, and Fish Hooks, and MBAV.
@Kaylie
Disney BOMBED this weekend. Disney promoted the LIVING HELL out of that new Austin and Ally season finale, and the show couldn’t EVEN CRACK 3 MILLION.
As Demi Lovato would say: “When will… you realize… disney isn’t a good network!”
@Nathan and Twist Of Fate 2.0: Both of you conveniently overlooked that Phineas and Ferb (3.6 million) had the highest rated kids’ TV episode of the week, beating out the “most popular show on Kids TV.” Please take your Nick PR shilling somewhere else.
That is all.
@Ryan Stoppable
2 things. 1 I don’t know if you’ve noticed but nickelodeon hasn’t released any “PR’s since god knows when. Second, the point is, All the new spongebob episodes premiered to about 3 million altogether, while Phineas and Jessie premiered to 3.5+, YET NICKELODEON STILL won total day. I also don’t know if you’ve noticed but a Robot and Monster episode beat out an Ant Farm episode that was promoted heavily. It’s okay to be mad, that Nickelodeon beat the mouse (Aka disney.) Also, please read my comments carefully. I never said anything abou Spongebob being the most popular kids show on tv, but just because Phineas and Ferb scored 3.6 million, that automatically doesn’t make Phineas and Ferb, better (ratings wise) than spongebob.
It’s okay to be a disney prep, I was once one, but sadly I realized Nickelodeon had better programming….
Also, I think everyone would agree to this statement Ryan stoppable: All press releases made by the Disney-ABC family group are all “spun”.
Nick total day dominance: 17 1/2 years
Disney total day dominance 3 months
which one would you rather have over 17 years or just 3 months lol
@Nathan: Please go back and re-read my first comment – there is a logical explanation for NICK winning total day that does not involve premieres or the quality of programming on either network.
Yes, all TV ratings press releases are “spun”, but the numbers they are based on are not.
And honestly, I probably over-reacted in my last comment and I apologize for that. It isn’t about which channel is “better” – it’s about what shows entertain you, and hoping that they do well so they stay on the air longer.
Thank you, and have a nice day.
@Ryan Stoppable Spongebob is the most popular show on Kids TV. When was the last time Phineas and Ferb hit 3 million viewers on a reun. Spongebob does EVERY Saturday. And wait, are your implying that Phineas and Ferb is more popular than Spongebob. One week doesn’t prove anything, not only did Spongebob have a terrible time slot BOTH times (Labor Day and Friday at 5:00), Phineas and Ferb had a lead-in. Bottom line is Spongebob is more popular than Phineas and Ferb.
@Ryan Stoppable
If you are trying to imply that the “logical reason” for Nick winning total day is just because of Spongebob, you’re wrong. Nickelodeon probably had other programming that has gotten good repeat ratings, but wasn’t featured in the daily cable ratings.
The reason you all see spongebob in the DCR (Daily cable ratings) is because it obviously has a high adult demo which means the show skews to not only kids, but adults. I’m pretty sure other nick shows would have made it if the shows weren’t listed by which show ahd the highest adult demo.
Thank you.
Fact: Spongebob > Every show on disney repeat wise, animated wise, and of course, RATINGS WISE.
My Opinion: Spongebob is better than any animated show on Disney quality wise. I would appreciate if my opinion is respected.
