I can’t believe the lib. media is actually attacking Romney. I have not been watching them lately. Health reasons, doctors orders, besides I can’t afford to keep buying televisions. I thought you guys on here were being a little over the top. I am thinking they can’t be attacking Romney but I was wrong. They are campaign staffers for Obama.

Obama looks like Carter, did not see this coming and they attack Romney. Everything I said about the lib. media since I’ve been here is confirmed.

Hey Laurence I don’t get any information from right wing sites. This stupidity that I post is all mine.

Another reason for obumbles to pay to seal all of his history and records.

Former Univ. of Chicago law school interim dean: Obama was never offered tenure

A longtime professor and one-time interim dean of the University of Chicago Law School told The Daily Caller that Barack Obama was never offered tenure, despite the assertions of a New York Times reporter who covers the president and the first family.

“Tenure offers require votes from faculties approved by the provost, and need a scholarly output. He was approached with the possibility of an entry level position without tenure, but it never got to the faculty for want of interest on his side,” Epstein confirmed via email.

Epstein was the law school’s interim dean during 2001. His account contradicts a claim Kantor has repeatedly made, that a tenure offer came from Dean Daniel Fischel.

    Thanks Ibsles
Work prevented me form listening to Rush today.

Epstein told TheDC that no such opportunity was ever extended to Barack Obama. Fischel, he added, would never have been authorized to make an offer so generous.

“I wish I still had my email to Jodi,” he lamented, “because I wrote Jodi Kantor in no uncertain terms that the matter had never come to the faculty, and that under no circumstances would an offer to Obama be tenured. Indeed I was completely taken aback by the story.”

Epstein drew a clear line of distinction between full tenure and “tenure track” positions — which offered no guarantees but could result in tenure at some future date.

“There was support for a tenure track offer,” he explained, “but the issue did not remain live for long as Obama decided against it. The thought that the law school could have made a tenure offer to a person with no academic writing was out of the question, as far as I was concerned, and I took a lot of heat from people who kept saying that Chicago had abandoned its scholarly standards by contemplating that offer.”

“I have no idea what Fischel said to Obama, but what little discussion [there was] on the faculty side did not deal with tenure.”

Poll: Jewish support for Obama dropped sharply since 2008

President Obama’s support among Jewish voters is down 19 percentage points since his 2008 election victory, a new poll reveals.

A recent Investor’s Business Daily/Christian Science Monitor/TIPP Poll, released Monday, found that while President Obama leads in overall polling — 46 percent to Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s 44 percent — his support among Jewish voters has dropped from 78 percent in 2008 to 59 percent today.

The poll — conducted during the midst of the Democratic National Convention’s omission of God and Jerusalem as the capital of Israel from their platform, only to have an effort to reinsert the two items booed by Obama delegates — further found that Romney garners 35 percent of the Jewish vote, up from Senator John McCain’s 21 percent showing in 2008.

Was President Obama a constitutional professor at the University of Chicago Law School, as he has claimed? Former law school Dean Richard Epstein says no. Charles Johnson reports for TheDC:

Obama taught one two-hour seminar each semester and had no scholarly publications, Epstein said, noting what he called a lack of interest on the future president’s part. He saw Obama as having one eye fixed on academia and the other on politics.

Professor John Yoo of the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, who was a visiting professor on the University of Chicago campus in the fall of 2003 while Obama was employed there, never recalls seeing Obama, though his office was across the hall.

This article was corrected to reflect that Obama did teach a course on constitutional law while a lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School, but that he wasn’t primarily a constitutional law instructor. His most often-taught course, the university informed The Daily Caller, was “Current Issues in Racism and the Law.” TheDC regrets the error.

That’s got to be the funniest thing I have ever heard.
Russian Ships in the background while Obama spoke at the DNC!
What a disgrace! How can anyone continue to make excuses for this man?
    A walking talking screw up!

MSNBC is doing well in a Presidential election year. Fox is as well & Megyn Kelly has a two-page profile in People magazine in their latest issue. CNN numbers continue to be poor.

    Chaos on the way ?

“Research published in June by the Small Arms Survey suggested that the emergence and influence of armed groups challenging national government and army was accelerating rapidly. The survey identified four distinct types including experienced revolutionary brigades accounting for up to 85% of all weapons not controlled by the state and myriad militias – loosely defined as armed gangs, criminal networks and religious extremists bent on exploiting post-revolution weakness.

A power struggle is now under way between the Libyan army and these various groups, and while some play a constructive role, others threaten the future of the Libyan state, the survey said”

In a dispatch from Benghazi, Reuters quoted witnesses as saying the attackers included tribesmen, militia and other gunmen, and that Libyan security officers guarding the facility were overrun and some retreated. It quoted one witness as saying he saw one of the Americans die in front of him and the body had been covered in ash.

    Where were our marines ?

US politicians did not learn a lesson. Just as in Iraq , we jumped feet first into a complex situation without sufficient care or thought for the future. Will Egypt, Syria (responsibility to protect) , Libya , etc. become more radical or more moderate?

This fiasco might actually end up being a political win for the President. The lib. media will blame Romney and the people will say Obama is doing a great job, nothing to see here.

Hey maybe Islamist could attack some other embassies. Drive Obama’s numbers up and Romney’s numbers down. The world is upsidedown.

Caller Nails It: If Obama is So Concerned with Feelings in the Muslim World, Why is He Bragging So Much About Killing Osama?

RUSH: It’s Claire in Logan, New Mexico. I’m glad you waited. I really am. Great to have you on the program. Hi.

CALLER: Well, it’s so great to be on the program. This is the first time I have ever called into a show anywhere, any time, but I was so determined to join your conversation today —

CALLER: — because what occurred to me was, if the Obama administration is so concerned about not hurting the feelings of these terrorists, then why are they constantly spiking the ball about killing bin Laden?

RUSH: Hmm. You know, that is a great question out there, Claire. If we’re so concerned about hurting the feelings of Muslims, why is Obama bragging that he killed Osama so often. That’s a fascinating question. Yeah, in fact, their campaign slogan is “GM’s alive and Osama’s dead,” or something like that. They’re ramming it down the throats of Islamists all over the world. In fact, in Egypt at the embassy yesterday, the protesters were all shouting, “We’re all Osama’s, Obama. We’re all Osama’s, Obama.” There are millions of Osamas, Obama. So we might even conclude, ladies and gentlemen, that if we’re gonna accept this notion that hurt feelings inspire terrorism, then maybe Obama is responsible for this, and ultimately maybe the blame falls to him. You think they watched the Democrat convention? You think they saw Plugs Biden up there going on and on about how Osama’s dead? This could be the Obama bounce. The media was looking for the Obama bounce, and we found it, the attack on our embassy in Cairo. The real Obama bounce. Claire, you know what? There’s something to this. First time you’ve ever called. You said you were determined to get through here.

    CALLER: Yeah. I’m very nervous.

RUSH: And you have. And you made a brilliant, brilliant point. I wanted to make sure you hung on so I could thank you

CALLER: Well, I’m just honored to be talking to you. I’m very nervous.

RUSH: Yeah, yeah. But I appreciate it, I really do. I want to send you an EIB engraved iPad. Would you let me do that?

    A lot more to read.

I was among those that thought the CNN poll earlier this week that showed President Obama with a 6 point lead of Governor Romney, was flawed.

I was surprised today to see a Fox News poll that has Obama with a 5 point lead over Romney. I have not yet had time to read the methodology of the Fox News Poll so I can’t comment on its accuracy from my limited knowledge of statistics (? uneven Republican/Independent representation like CNN ?)

It is interesting that one poll pretty much echos the other and even if both are flawed since the methodology is similar to earlier polls by both outlets showing ties or Romney leads, I think it may be indisputable that the President got bumps greater than first thought by many from the convention.

    Any thoughts?

Okay I just watched CBS news. I said in a post last night righties that we were playing a rigged game. We are like Charlie Brown running up to kick the lib. media’s football. I am so enraged I need to go to my happy place and cool down.

I am not mad at the lefties or the Dems. My hatred of the vermon in the Lib. media is boiling over and I need to take it easy. We lose again, how many years will it take for the people of this country to see through that lib. media?

They way they posed the questions to Romney and Obama is stricking. They sounded like they were confronting Romney and coddling Obama.

Also the President said Romney tends to shoot from the hip and ask questions later. Not a great choice of words after our people were gunned down. The lib. media will say nothing about his choice of words.

Clinton sounds like he’s campaigning for Romney. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_yysboo79M&feature=player_embedded

The Prez. has 4 to 5 point lead. Outside the margin of error if you take all the polls into account. That is a good lead in a country that teaters back and forth so slightly.

He will get a bump from the attacks at the embassies. The lib. media sealed Romney’s fate on that issue today.

I will tell you all when I cool down how the lib. media would have played this if we had a Republican in the White House later.
