“It’s so rare, especially in the current fragmented environment, to see a show grow into its fifth season,” said John Landgraf, President and General Manager, FX Networks.  “The fact that the season 5 premiere episode is also likely to become FX’s highest rated telecast of all time is a testament to the quality of work Kurt Sutter, the writers, directors, cast and crew have done on this extraordinarily ambitious and riveting drama.”

On a Live+Same Day or Live only basis, last night’s telecast of SOA ranked as FX’s most-watched telecast in its 18-year history in delivery of Men 18-49 (2.15 million) and Men 18-34 (1.18 million).

The seduction of money, power, and blood.

    @caseyd

    Oh,as if milquetoast shows like NCIS and Criminal Minds or Desperate Housewives don’t show the same “values”… At least SOA do it with consequences on the characters and the plots, unlike these other shows.

  • Coop

    I watch Sons of Anarchy, but I don’t watch child porn. It’s a television show. A highly entertaining one at that. Trying to draw comparisons between the shows someone watches and their state of mind is laughable.

  • caseyd

    Nope silvit, dont watch those shows.
    And yes, you are right, conequences.
    Just a different perception of what people are thrilled about nowdays, s’all. Enjoy.

  • SarahL

    I am not a fan, but I watched for Jimmy Smits and my boy from Oz, Harold Perrineau. Not bad. I will be watching to see how their stories unfold.

    Congrats to Kurt Sutter and his gang!!

    FYI. SOA S05E01 torrent is on absolute fire, buring up hotter than Tig’s daughter ;)`

    Some critics here…know an awful lot of the details of the show..not to have watched it. Then comes to the website it to insite a riot among the
    views who like the show…some people like to be dramakings and queens.

    The show is tops in my book..I even watched it the 2nd time it came on at
    11:30…Keep it coming!

  • THE OLD MAN

    Great! I predicted 2.5>

  • caseyd

    If your speaking of me, of course I have watched the show. I would not give an opinion had I not.
    Riot? Really? For a different opinion from yours?
    Hey, thought this was America

  • The End

    @caseyd

    Casey, aka Wow. Do you not understand this is just a TV show? Entertainment? Actors who get paid to play the role and nothing more?

    There is no deep meaning behind people watching the show. I don’t understand why you’re trying to turn this into an issue of morality. Just because someone watches a TV show doesn’t mean they’re a bad person. You’re pretty much insulting anyone who likes the show with what you’re saying and really, you need to stop.

  • Sunshine

    What actor plays Pope please?
