   White Collar is rocking the ratings! Best season yet. Bomer’s intensity was great last night in so many scenes. Great athleticism on and off the screen. This guy’s talent is real!

   Wow, even more of a margin for SoA than I thought. It will be interesting to see how Vegas and SoA affect each other (or even if they do).

   Wow, Sons of Anarchy is a beast, wonder how it will go when all the other shows premiere. White Collar and Covert Affairs holding up pretty good too.

   now i hope AHS opens BIG also. they need to whip out a legit promo though. enough of the random 10 second spots.

   White Collar takes a jump in the toughest slot of the week, excellent summer season for it. Relieved to see Covert getting a more respectable number and not squandering WC lead in so much.

   I am a fan of White Collar and yes it has done better the last few weeks but I have to admit I am pretty sure it is because Rizzoli and Isles is done for the summer season. White Collar did not get that demo any of the times that it was against a new episode of Rizzoli and Isles. Rizzoli and Isles had been kicking White Collar’s butt. W

   White Collar has only gotten these better demos starting with the very first week Rizzoli and Isles had been done. I do not think that is a concidence. When R&I airs White Collar is at .9′s. Again I love WC but I will not give it that much credit for fixing it’s ratings. Now if it did this against Rizzoli and Isles then I would say it is doing great now.

   whoa SOA was 0.3 higher than the New Normal and that had a pretty good lead in numbers wise. Won’t be surprised if New Normal is under 2.0 by November

    Wonder how well SOA will hold up after the premiere. Last season after the really big premiere ratings they fell back down to the usually numbers of around 2.0 demo. It was a great season premiere.

    White Collar is off the charts this season. I agree with Jamie, Matt’s acting was top notch last night. The intensity, the layers of emotion, the physicality of it, amazing. Also kudos to Tim, he did a great job too. Their chemistry is what keeps the show going. The rest of the cast (Sharif and Tiffani in particular) did solid work as well. This season is a tad bit darker than the previous seasons but maybe that’s why it is also higher in quality. No more Disney villains, no more tepid resolutions. This storyline has the potential to be gravely tragic and effective if the writers pull the stops.

    As predicted. There is so much trite, tired, procedurals crap and silly sit-coms on tv that people crave for anything different. I’m getting scared thinking about which ratings The Walking Dead may get. It will kick network show’s butt.

    WC did its usual 0.9-1.0 in the last few weeks. It can be up just because its was the last to the finale.

    Honestly I have never watched an episode of Rizzoli and Isles as I have stated above I watch White Collar but I am curious, what is Rizzoli and Isles about? It seems to share an audience with WC since it beat it and since it has been gone WC ratings have improved quite a bit. Anyone think that will keep up when it goes against this Rizzoli and Isles again if I go by the whole summer I would say that WC will fall back down to .9′s against the R&I show.

    As I wrote, WC in the previous weeks got its usual 1.0.-0.9 rating, which is the rating it used to get all summer long.

    Being on TNT, R&I can only be the same old same old crime procedurals ( I don’t watch neither of them, so I don’t know if they can share an audience based on content, but I doubt it, given the difference in the leads – one attractive man vs 2 women).

    Rizzoli and Isles having finished its run might have affected Collar’s ratings, but that doesn’t mean more people are watching WC now than they were pre R&I’s finale. It just means less people are DVRing it. Interestingly enough, watching a show live and DVRing another one doesn’t always mean you are a bigger fan of the live one. I know a few people in the WC community who always DVR because they want to watch the episodes more than once. So as absurd as it may sound, sometimes the show people DVR is the one they like better.

    Similar to you I’m only a White Collar fan and haven’t watched a single episode of Rizzoli and Isles.

    I believe that White Collar is up because R&I is off the air right now but in previous seasons it is always up as the Mid-season finale comes. So it will be interesting to see what’d happen if the next year WC start before R&I.

    you said- that’s probably the easiest way to findd last night’s episode of abby and brittany, however Abby & Brittany- Amanda Kondolojy- that is an error- that I recommend be changed to 19 Kids & Counting
