Handicapping info: Last season Glee premiered to a 4.0, saw a season low rating of 2.5, and the finale earned a 2.9 adults 18-49 rating.

It’s worth noting that even at Comic-con the attendance to their panel was way down.

  • dantas

I believe it will break a 3.0 but only for the premiere. Then it’s falling down sharply.

  • Jenny

    2.5-2.7

  • Baqinardo

    2.6-2.9.
It’s up against AGT final hrs. And AGT finale was awesome yesterday.
    And there’s big brother too.

I stopped watching Glee after season two, and regretted for watching it that far. I think people finally realised in season three how terrible Glee had gotten and will continue to jump ship.

    Welcome to cancellation come Spring.

  • Kenny

i think it will break the 3.0 in the first episode because everything is new and so but it will drop to 2.0 – 2.5 at the end of the season

  • Penny

    7 million with a 2.4-2.8

  • Raf

    XF a 3.0-3.4
    Glee 2.7-2.9
    Bad season for fox

  • taylor

    X-Factor 3.7
    Glee 2.9

  • DryedMangoez

No help from X Factor. I doubt Glee shares an audience with either AGT and BB, but it is the AGT finale tonight.

  • EatMorePez

    3.1

This season will be a pivotal for Glee. Will viewers embrace the new characters and put up with story lines in different cities? If they do, Glee could be in for a long run, if not then this is the beginning of the end.

Glee 4 will be above 3.0, maybe around 3.3-3.5 but will fall once Person Of Interest and Grey’s Anatomy enter. Glee will hover around 2.4-2.9 this season, which I think is good for non-Fringe FOX veterans.

  • DKD

I’m thinking rating will be a 2.6, give or take. This may be the final season for Glee. I can’t see them supporting such a large cast without big ratings.

  • jake

I think it will get between 2.8-3.2
but who knows, it looks like Fox is gonna have a rough season, even worse than NBC…

  • Dillan

    X Factor: 3.9
    Glee: 2.7

I am guessing that whatever ratings Glee gets on Thursday night from 9 to 10 will be better than the ratings they would have gotten if they had stayed on Tuesday night from 8 to 9. Fox moved the program to a different night for a very good reason. An explanation which airs on CBS during that time slot.

2.5-2.8 at best. I’m glad that Fox are going to struggle this season because their shows have gotten very dull. And with the end of House, Fringe and soon to be Bones things aren’t looking good from my point.

I’ll say it holds most of The X Factor audience (so around a 3.0) but given what that got last night, it isn’t great given where the show was a couple of years ago (5.7 for the Britney ep).

How it does throughout the season depends on how well the split narrative works and whether it can make the show feel fresh again – I’m thinking this will be the last season though.

I’m actually interested in half the show now. I’m considering watching just the Rachel + Kurt Show parts…as opposed to just the Rachel performances, as I mostly did last season.

    X Factor- 3.4
    Glee- 3.0
