What can be said is on 9-11 ,11 year after the Twin Towers attack , the US suffered another terror attack at our consulate in Libya. We were unprepared for it, as could be seen by lack of Marines guarding the embassy. This attack & the aftermath are on President Obama’s watch. You can’t spin that successfully.
The Administration assisted film , Zero Dark Thirty,the movie of the decade-long hunt for Osama bin Laden , and his death at the hands of the Navy SEAL Team 6 in May, 2011, is due to be released Dec. 19th. We’ll see how the movie affects the Middle East & Africa.

I knew about the tragic loss of our Marines but not the jets.
On Friday Sept. 14, at around 10.15 p.m. local time, a force of Taliban gunmen attacked Camp Bastion, in Helmand Province, the main strategic base in southwestern Afghanistan.
Two U.S. Marines were killed in the subsequent fighting whereas eight of 10 AV-8B+ Harrier jets of the Yuma-based Marine Attack Squadron (VMA) 211 were destroyed (6) or heavily damaged (2): the worst U.S. air loss in one day since the Vietnam War.

When I was in Vietnam and if we were attached; we engaged the enemy and later stated that the radio failed. In most cases there were rules of engagement which took time to confirm.
The Marines at Camp Leatherneck will find a way.

I am voting Johnson because I live in a state my vote doesn’t count since it will go Democrat. I also stand by the Libertarian POV on foreign policy and legalizing weed, as well as a host of other social issues.
I said it many times before but it annoys me beyond no end that the tea Party types act like they want big government staying out of peoples lives, when alot of their policies are the exact opposite of that. At least when the libertarians say they want government out, they actually mean it.
