   Heard someone say today that they call it QE3 for a reason. The first two didn’t work. It will be a permanent bailout for the banks and if there is a bounce for a month or two. It will help obama. After Romney said he wouldn’t re-appoint Bernanke–the printing presses went into overdrive.
   @Coffee Kirstin Powers has really become less biased and is beginning to call it as she sees it.

   If Matthew and Faith3 come in tonight or the weekend, what are yours and D.D.’s thoughts on the QE3 and the downgrade? Be interesting to hear your views on this.

   I can give you my thoughts on QE3 in a very simple way.

   QE 3 is only a sugar high. In other words, it will stimulate the economy , but, it won’t be permanent. It’s another attempt to try to artificially prop up asset prices. What is horrible about this, there is no end date. It’s continual.

   Keeping the interest rate low is supposed to help housing, but, it won’t create jobs, &. without jobs , people won’t buy houses . QE’s help big banks &the stock market, but, hurt most of the rest of us. We’re going to have higher food & energy costs & that dreaded word more inflation.

   Downgrading the US today is more of an attempt to get our politicians attention. The Nov 7th meeting by Moody’s will be telling. If they lower our rating to AA1, not much is likely to happen ,though. Investors are still going to be buying our bonds because of low rates. We’d just lose our prime rating & go to high grade credit which is still considered very strong. I really don’t see much change in interest rates, corporate-bond ratings or borrowing costs.

   Well guys and gals, both smokers are fired u and rolling smoke! One with a 15 lb turkey and the other with 3 pot roasts. Turkey – 13 hours Pot Roast – 4.5 hours so it will be a long night. Then in the morning I am off to Illinois to my sisters and picking up the demo boats that my nephew and I are selling. So Listen up Coffee Steve! Dont you be messin around in here all weekend causing trouble and making a big ole mess. Trim the hedges, wash the windows, and DONT FORGET to clean the bathrooms!!! Navy dude had mexican the other day, need I say more?
   See you guys Sunday (but I just may check in and suprise Coffee as he is sittin on his but eatin cheeseburgers!)

   When the fed issued that, I almost had a heart attack, it reaks to me like this is a last ditch effort to avoid a collapse and they are preparing for the EU to go down and hope to get our economy up enough to sustain a global meltdown.

   You don’t have a program to buy Bonds with no end to it. Its like a non stop printing money press with no hope of a return.

    The Moon cycle is ripe, I don’t think this month, but if it is, this could be a interesting week end. I seen some info on Military blogs suggesting all this Flare Up with the embbassies could be a diversion to keep Israel from hitting Iran. It may work if thats what it is.

    MWA, great post. Kinda sad that Jeffie’s life is so pathetic he tries to impress with false stories a bunch of people he doesn’t know on a web site. He does have complete control of all four letter words though. He’ll make my point for me shortly.
