Thursday Night Football on the NFL Network was Thursday's top cable programming with a 3.8 Adults 18-49 rating. Awkward was the top scripted show, earning a distant 1.0 adults 18-49 rating.
We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our primary source. If you don't see your show it wasn't in that top 100 list.

@Michael: D.C. did better than Miami.
But the first season of Miami wasn’t intentionally supposed to be part of the franchise but Andy Cohen put it in the place of the fourth season of NYC and it obviously didn’t do well. Now that Miami has the “housewife” formula a lot of people are not interested in watching the premiere due to the lack-luster that was the first season. I hope the ratings get better because it seemed like a good premiere and the rest of the season looks good.

Right now MTV is really struggling to get viewers to watch the network. Teen Mom is over..and Jersey Shore is in its final season. With Teen Wolf currently on hiatus and Inbetweeners barely making its presence known.. I would assume MTV is gonna be in an up hill battle come January. I have my own theories as to why viewers are tuning out and believe the lack of diversity is hurting the network. MTV used to be known for out of the box entertainment that was fresh. Not so much anymore.

Definitely! Last season, was lack-luster. The show needed to be revamped and replaced with more interesting women. I’m liking the new changes, the ladies are much better this season (#TeamJoanna). Andy showed a preview of what’s to come this season, a lot of drama!!! Hopefully, ratings will pick up next week.
MTV scripted series have been hit or miss. Awkward and Teen wolf are hits..but MTV has struggled to find any other series to compliment either one of those. If I was MTV..I would try and launch another Sci Fi series something along the lines of CWs ARROW or Beauty and the Beast and get away from shows like inbetweeners for now. Also the fact that MTV hasn’t been able to launch any new reality series that have at least held there own. Other than Snooki and JWOWW..which in my opinion has only been mediocre in the ratings department.

Its time for MTV to add some color to there shows. VH1 has had huge successes in urban reality shows. Maybe MTV should take a note from VH1 and add some urban flavor that would work for there network.
The reason teams like cowboys, pats , jets dont play on NFLN TNF is each team can only play 1 thursday game per year from weeks 2-15.

Last seasons RHOM left much to be desired..maybe because it wasn’t originally supposed to be apart of the Housewives franchise but this year Miami seems like a totally different show. Judging by the promos on BRAVO this season looks really good and I’m loving the additions to the cast..especially Joanna Krupa.

Wilfred did a series-low 0.3. And Louie couldn’t make the list?!
Apparently people don’t like quality. A mean these shows did good last year, premiered great. But what happened? Doesn’t make any sense.
Also does anyone think Wilfred has a shot now?
Wilfred sucks and should be cancelled. Louie despite bad ratings at least it is good and gets critical acclaim and it is really cheap to make.
It takes commenter Hillbilly a couple of days to count such occurrences, and another day to find his way to the cable news section to announce them, so to help him out just this one time: FOXNC 8, MSNBC 2, CNN 0 (that’s zero, not capital o).

I’m impressed with Supernatural’s ratings on TNT. CW struggles to get that for a repeat of Supernatural. I wonder if this syndication will help the show grow at all, especially combined with Netflix, being on Wednesday instead of Friday, and having what I hope is a successful Arrow as a lead in.

Now we know why FX placed that 90 episode Anger Management order. Louie’s ratings are laughable..I mean I know the shows cheap to produce and all but come on on now.
FX without Anger Management is a damn trainwreck real talk.
I hate it that TNA has to go against Thursday Night Football and pretty soon the NBA on TNT the rest of the year. TNA deserves Raw’s ratings.

It’s interesting that these two shows skewed nearly the same despite one airing on the “old” network (TNT) and one airing on the “young” network (CW). Either way, solid numbers for the early morning.

That’s because they are both in the morning and one after the other. No matter the show, that’s the numbers TNT usually gets. That’s not strange with numbers so tiny where the range can only be small.
