Glee was adjusted down two tenths of a ratings point vs the preliminary Thursday broadcast ratings. The X Factor was not adjusted from the fast national ratings, however earlier we reported that X Factor had been adjusted up a tenth in time zone adjusted fast nationals. Unfortunately, those numbers still included the NFL game preemption which was stripped out in the finals.

Britney Spears and the other lady look so OLD in that picture. Maybe it’s a cultural thing, but people in my country don’t dress old like that at their age. They look like 40 years old women.
@Eridapo
Broadcast network tv shows SUCK. They are like 10 years behind cable tv (or at least behind FX, HBO,AMC and SHO). No wonder people lose interest in their middle-of-the-road offering.
Can you name 1 single broadcast network tv show that is original and daring? I know I don’t. They are just boring with no creativity whatsoever.
@silvit
Obnoxious, hated, and annoying as it is, nobody can deny how original and daring Glee is.
@POI, we get it… you love you’re namesake, LOL. I like it too but, let’s see it does in the weeks to come.
@Tyler
Honestly, I don’t find it daring and original at all. The high school caricatures are the same of Popular and the themes they deal with have already been treated and in a much more daring way and with much more depth and complexity on Nip/Tuck. As I said, they are 10 years behind.
I find Glee cheesy and preachy. The dialogues are sooo cheesy that the themes and the characters are caricatures and preachy as a result.
@ silvit
Watch L.A. Complex you dork.
@Nikita
Same old same old. If that passes for daring then we are in trouble.
This is what The Voice’s Ceelo Green does on Thursday Nights now.

I am seriously confused here.. Earlier it said Glee had an 8.08 Million viewer rating.. And now it’s 7.41? What? How in the hell is that possible? O.o
@Kalleb: the earlier numbers were the preliminary fast national ratings, these are the finals. While there may have been other reasons, my guess is the biggest chunk of the difference is because in Milwaukee the Fox affiliate simulcast the Packers/Bears game and in the preliminary fast nationals, viewing of local preemptions (in this case, the football game) is included in the numbers for the timeslot, so they were included in the preliminary numbers for Glee.
In the final numbers such viewing is pulled out.
Good point i over the summer watchied TNT and ABC Family most of the time. and not to much broadcast tv.
The X-Factor is going to get crushed when the CBS begins its Fall season in two weeks! Yikes
If x factor get’s cancelled at a 3.1 demo, does that mean AGT is dead at a 2.4?
Haha at Glee down 2 tenths.
It’s only downhill from here.
Grey’s and Interest will slaughter it, just like Fringe, and will be cancelled at the end of the season.
We just got rid of Rachel why bring another one on the show. It just
shows how the show is all about Lea Michelle.The first episode is title
Rachel in NY. Please. Is anyone really interested in the whole I”m the
greatest and I’m going to be a great star.Give me a break.
Fox just go ahead and cancel X-Factor, which CBS & ABC starting thier line up soon, X Factor will fall flat. Sorry Britney but Chirstina is still on top.
@fernando on top of her monumental flop last album and cancelled tour?
@fernando Christina has never been on top of anything over Britney commercially.
Albums, tours, fragrances etc. She is fortunate now to be judging in a spinning chair rather than a stationary one.
@47th
How well X Factor is doing is all tied to how the advertising contracts were written,
ratings of 3.1 might seem okay , that is unless the advertisers were guaranteed much higher ratings. if higher ratings were guaranteed by FOX the network could find itself giving away a great deal of the currently unsold adverting time in the 4th quarter.
@Nick
Hurt by the fact that Britney’s TV gig failed miserably? Ouch! It’s all right to trash talk Christina. It will make you feel better after this humiliating and embarrassing experience of your revered idol. Peace!
