Friday's Ratings Via TV Media Insights
NOTE: All ratings are "live plus same day" from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.
Definitions:
Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent. More information on ratings is available here.
Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

BAHAHAHAHA Touch!!!!! ROFL
Good hold for ANTM. Might be a solid Friday option (at least in the fall)
America’s Next Top Model gave FLOPKITA a Slight boost
The table reads 1.7 for Shark Tank.
In any event, ST has turned into a pretty solid performer for Friday nights. Shark Barbara also appeared on What Would You Do.
Thats all i thought Touch would get. Part of me expected a 0.5. Go On did well for NBC. Nice to see Top Model do well. Not even the proper season and it got a good rating by CW standards.
Lol Nikita hate already starting.
not sure many people knew touch was new yesterday…i didn’t find out til i was on here yesterday…
antm is getting supernatural ratings on friday
Well done to The CW for coming joint third.
0.7 is solid, even if it’s adjusted down, a 0.6 is solid and already better than most Nikita’s fall episodes. So a good move from the net.
Hope Nikita does well at 9:00PM. Hoping for a 0.6 for the premiere!
Great night for ABC. Hope Shark Tank adjusts up since it ran until 901.
ANTM really helped being moved to Fridays. If it can keep it up there may just be another cycle.
Lmao at Touch. Guys With Kids repeated well.
@Jamie
lol – “Hoping for a 0.6 for the Premiere”
Such low expectations
Considering Nikita got 0.4 for its last 6 episodes CW would be happy for a 0.6 for Nikita Premiere.
And Nikit is a freaking repeat. That just shows how pathetic the haters are
Wow, Guys with Kids didn’t repeat too bad.
Great start for Shark Tank.
Americas Next Top Model is doing pretty well.
WOW Never expected ANTM to tie loads of other programming
There, 0.7 is a flop, folks, not 3.0+.
What? A CW show beat FOX when they are both airing new episodes? Has that ever happened before? Not good for Touch.
Nice to see the Grimm repeat go to 0.7 from the 0.5′s it’s been getting. The NBC comedies seem to be repeating well on a Friday as well.
ANTM might actually resurrect from the dead and warrant itself a new cycle on midseason, after all. Good for the CW.
It gets the same as other repeats on cw and nikita does that same ratings in repeat on fridays. So what are the haters crowing about is beyond me
Anyone else shocked at how well Guys With Kids did ? It really should be on Fridays, it has a TGIF vibe to it. Actually, it seems more like an ABC show than an NBC one (it would have paired nicely with Malibu Country/Last Man Standing.
@Dennis
And probably even those aren’t realistic, since the show was getting 0.4s in the spring.
ANTM’s doing pretty well, though. I expect that will get a spring cycle unless it drops.
