Wow, MSNBC beat Fox last night.

  • Former CNN Fan

Shut the front door! MSNBC was off the hook last night. CNN is totally sucking.

  • Kevin in NC

Rachel Maddow beat Hannity! Bill-O is next!

  • Mike

Romney — the gift that keeps on giving. Repubs, give him up. Time to start focusing on the House and Senate.

  • Laurence Glavin

I’m surmising that during the Democratic Convention, enough people found out where MSNBC was on their cable system and decided to stick with it. I wonder if Mediaite.com’s coverage of Rachel’s comments had something to do with her viewership. She’s cited almost every day. OK, I’m done now. The Cable News numbers come out at about 5:00 pm Eastern. Somebody posted that after I make my early foray, I’m not seen again. That’s the purpose of tvbythenumbers; I know now what I want to know. In a little while, there will be multiple pages of posts, and any further post by me would be buried. As Ian Schoales used to say “I gotta go”.

  • Jayson

MSNBC won the primetime demo because of the Romney hidden recording. MSNBC covered it…FNC totally ignored it…CNN partially covered it. Some FNC loyalists probably tuned in to MSNBC to get the details. It’s no big deal. But, it shows what happens when a station tries to bury a big story.

I have to agree with this. I will give O’Reilly a free pass because I believe he pretapes his show but no reason Hannity couldn’t talk about it and Greta probably could have said more beyond one line.

  • Jeff

There’s about to be a lot of Fox News Nutties posting ridiculous comments and making crazy excuses.

  • Coffee Steve

    @Kevin in NC
Rachel Maddow beat Hannity! Bill-O is next

Your right, after bill retires that is

    FNC totally ignored it

Really? I must have had a Fox Channel Clone on then, they covered itr every hour. So thats a fact checker PANTS ON FIRE MASSIVE EXPOLSION SUPERNOVA kind of un-truth

  • James

BIG night for msnbc chris rachel andd beat their Fox counterparts in the key demo ..all thanks in part to the romney vid. Well at least now the question has been answerd about the true mitt romney ..that man is not worthy of the highest office in the land..hes pathetic

  • Coffee Steve

I watched Fox alot yesterday, why are you saying they didn’t cover the Romney tape Story, when they did all day long when the story broke?

  • Coffee Steve

Reason I asked about the USGS monitors, My former Bro in Law said he saw something at his office about it and wondered why no press about it. Go figure

  • Coffee Steve

    He lives in San Diego

  • Mark

I know media matters is a liberal leaning site but would you find this statement false?

CNN found this newsworthy, as did MSNBC. Fox News, however, ignored the story from 4 pm, when the video was released, until after 10 pm, when Romney addressed the video in a press conference.

Even then, in a segment during On the Record, Fox declined to show the actual footage of Romney at the fundraiser, or even quote from his statements. Instead, only Romney’s press conference defending his remarks was aired.

Obama to transfer Blind Sheik to Egypt?

  • James

Why didn’t Hannity cover it? If Obama had said something like that FN would BE ALL OVER IT EVERY DAY EVERY SECOND of the day. :)

check out all of the libtards peeing their pants….LOL. Reminds me of the day of and before the Wisconsin recall election, the day before the 2010 congressional elections, etc., etc., etc.

…I can’t wait to hear Obama say, “well, we got shellacked…” again on the morning of November 7th.

“Is anybody advocating that you take control of your life, pursue excellence, follow your dreams, be ambitious, be the best you can be? If there is a candidate in this race that thinks that and believes that and puts it into play, it is Mitt Romney. It’s not Barack Obama.” -Rush Limbaugh

  • lbsles

“Mitt Romney has a history of creating jobs and growing businesses. What’s Obama’s story? What’s Obama’s history? Creating dependency and growing government and regulations that make it hard to do business. Barack Obama is punitive toward small-business people. Mitt Romney’s not! The choice here is easy.” -Rush Limbaugh
