*Obama official: Benghazi was a terrorist attack

    Yeah, Coffee

    FINALLY ! The spin stops

U.S. official says Benghazi consulate was “terrorist attack”

Reuters) – The assault on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi last week in which four Americans died was a “terrorist attack” that may have had an al Qaeda connection, a top U.S. counterterrorism official told Congress on Wednesday.

Rocket-propelled grenades and mortars struck the consulate on September 11, the anniversary of the 2001 attacks on the United States. U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans died.

“They were killed in the course of a terrorist attack on our embassy,” Matthew Olsen, director of the National Counterterrorism Center, said in response to a question at a Senate hearing.

Maybe, Andrea Mitchell can play this video …

Obama in 1995 called for ‘democracy with a small d.’ Pushed society based on collectivism, ‘common good’ in unearthed video

“It’s not popular right now to say that, and to believe in sort of a common good, but I think that notions of a common good are the glue that hold our society together and make democracy possible.”

The interviewer then asked Obama whether he is “willing to stake your political career on your common ground?” The interviewer likely meant to say “common good” instead of “common ground.”

“That’s the core of my faith,” Obama replied.

Coffee Steve – WH may re-consider all aid to them.

    ——————————–

Last night i found several stories on the may re-consider. Still haven’t found any that says they did hold back the aid. I’m NOT saying they didn’t. I would think if they did it would make headlines. Only recent article i can find on delaying the aid. It has nothing to do with the current events.

    ———————————–

The delay in disbursing the funds has been due to the time needed for Egypt’s new government to establish itself, according to Patrick Ventrell, the State Department’s acting deputy spokesman.

Obama is gonna leave the middle class alone! Obama is not going to raise taxes on the middle class! Obama says “it ainta a tax!” “it’s a tax” “no it aint a tax” “We win cuz it’s a tax!!!”

Tax penalty to hit nearly 6M uninsured people

WASHINGTON (AP) — Congressional budget analysts are now estimating that nearly 6 million Americans — most of them in the middle class — will have to pay a tax penalty for not getting health insurance once President Barack Obama’s health care law is fully in place.

That’s 2 million more than a previous estimate found, or a 50 percent increase. The average penalty will be nearly $1,200.

Starting in 2014, the new health care law requires virtually every legal resident of the U.S. to carry health insurance, or face a tax penalty. The Supreme Court upheld Obama’s law as constitutional after finding that the penalty fell within the power of Congress to impose taxes.

The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said Wednesday the penalty will raise $6.9 billion when fully in effect in 2016

    I WANT FOOD STAMPS TOO!!!!!

CRS report: number of able-bodied adults on food stamps doubled after Obama suspended work requirement

Obama administration officials have insisted that their decision to grant states waivers to redefine work requirements for welfare recipients would not “gut” the landmark 1996 welfare reform law. But a new report from the Congressional Research Service obtained by the Washington Examiner suggests that the administration’s suspension of a separate welfare work requirement has already helped explode the number of able-bodied Americans on food stamps.

In addition to the broader work requirement that has become a contentious issue in the presidential race, the 1996 welfare reform law included a separate rule encouraging able-bodied adults without dependents to work by limiting the amount of time they could receive food stamps. President Obama suspended that rule when he signed his economic stimulus legislation into law, and the number of these adults on food stamps doubled, from 1.9 million in 2008 to 3.9 million in 2010, according to the CRS report, issued in the form of a memo to House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va

Oreilly. Defends the comment 100%. ONE HUNDRED PERCENT!

47% don’t pay income taxes and Romney tried to equate that to people that live off the government. How about the elderly on SS? What about retirees? He’s calling retirees “living off the government AND voting for OBAMA and that he has no need to get your vote”

Bobbyv points out “BO” said the elderly/retiress are NOT included.

    @suik,

He did say that he (BO) did not think Romney included them in his % and that the % is too high. But that is why I like his show – his guest disagreed with him.

    To which you said –

    @bobbyV

I agree. That’s why I watch Oreilly. Only thing I dislike about his show is that he nitpicks what he wants to talk about. He HAD to talk about this quote from Romney because it was such a big deal on the stupidness (not a word I know) of the quote. He started his show off on false numbers 47%….remember that number…when most of that is retirees and the elderly…

So Bill O did NOT defend the statement 100%. He said the 47% was to high.

and yes I HARDLY EVER RARELY watch “News” TV.

Yet you constantly cry about FN. If you are not watching how do you know the context of what was said or wasn’t said? So you went from never watching FN, to watching it & now its rarely you watch.

Yes. The CNBC’s and Bloomberg see it as a warning that QE3 was done because the economy has reversed and getting worse.

I believe that soon the dollar won’t be worth the paper it’s printed on d.d.

Personal opinion, maybe, but that’s how I see it. The controled decline of the dollar has begun.

FAST & FURIOUS, about what you’d expect when investigation not done by an independent IG.

One resignation ,Jason Weinstein, , has resigned from the department,

    plus,

Reuters) – The U.S. Justice Department’s internal watchdog on Wednesday referred 14 employees, including senior official Lanny Breuer, for possible internal discipline in connection with a botched gun probe in Arizona.

Another senior official, Kenneth Melson, will retire from the Justice Department, the spokeswoman said. Melson was the acting director of the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives until 2011, when he was reassigned.

PMSNBC needs to remember that Monday nite football takes away alot of the regular watchers. Tues will be back to normal. The election time does bring a dozen of so new zombies to pmsnbc.
