OWN is slowly making progress..and finally coming into its “own”.

Best deck chair on the Titanic yet!

  • cas127

    How lame is OWN?

Its “best series debut evah!” (with 1,136,000 million viewers P2+) is *less* than the average show, on the average cable net, during an average week (about 1.3M P2+).

In order words, you could pick a random show, on a random network, during a random week – and have a better than 50% chance of beating the ratings of OWN’s best series debut evah!.

YES!! I loved the show it was amazing!! So glad Iyanla is on television…and the OWN network is making strides!! I will remain a faithful viewer!

Getting over a million viewers is still pretty rare on cable. These numbers are impressive. OWN is now one of the top 40 channels on cable.

So much hate. The network got 1 million plus in Saturday night. That’s amazing. And OWN is doing quite wel on Sundays now. Those networks they have higher numbers didn’t always have them. It took them a while to get where they are.
