During its premiere week in the National ratings (w/o 09/03/12), the newly-rechristened “LIVE! with Kelly and Michael” finished as TV’s No. 1 syndicated talk show in Households (2.8 rating), Total Viewers (3.6 million) and Women 25-54 (1.5 rating).
- Building over its year-ago premiere week in Households (+8% - 2.8 rating vs. 2.6 rating), Total Viewers (+6% - 3.6 million vs. 3.4 million), Women 25-54 (+7% - 1.5 rating vs. 1.4 rating) and Women 18-49 (+10% - 1.1 rating vs. 1.0 rating), “LIVE! with Kelly and Michael” generated the show’s strongest season opening week since 2007.
- In its inaugural broadcast on Tuesday (9/4/12), “LIVE! with Kelly and Michael” posted the show’s top-rated telecast in nearly 10 months among Households – since 11/21/11.
Will Kelly ever let Michael talk? It had gotten to the point where every story being told, Kelly would take over, or talk over the “Guest Host” got to the point where several of the Guest hosts just shut up because she turns every conversation into something about her, her family etc….. Gave up on the ” Kelly Show”.

I am a huge fan of your show Kelly but no more!! Michael has to be the worst host for you. He may be a very nice man but he should stick to football!! He has ruined your awesome show. I find it very hard to watch your show now. You went from #1 to bottom of the talk shows. I still think that you are amazingly funny and witty but Please find a better host!!!!

Stopped watching because I REALLY got tired of hearing about “the one that shall not be named”!!(Her son, Michael) Kelly has a very bad habit of monopolizing the conversation, and she is constantly interrupting!
in the weeks following Regis, there were many co-hosts; Michael was the first (and only? ) man to hold / help Kelly into her chair, before he sat down…I don’t watch that much anymore…but I was impressed !!!
Kelly talks about her son’s teachers being so attentive, supportive,and so willing to help with school work. I think she’s forgotten to mention that he goes to a very exclusive, private school, probably the best around. Why shouldn’t the school be supportive! I think she’d find if he went to a public school, he would be one of very many kids, and the staff would not have the time be able to give such personal care.
great show monday the first, micheal sets off kelly like a a good qb sets of a fottball team, a sewrer sets of a dress designer, .watching them chat about older people and marriage rememinded me of how lucky i am to have shred the lst 48 years with, j

I think michael is a awesome co-host.They have a rappert that many of the co-hosts didn’t.He is knowdlegable and funny.He is just over welmed right now.I think they are doing a great job and look forward to the show every day.Sometimes I don’t care for the guests they have lined up but that is minor.Great job Kelly and Michael.You have to keep in mind that Regis was doing that job for a long time and Michael is just starting out.Have a heart.Life is short.
I watched live with Regis and Kelly for years! But after Regis left it was all about Kelly, she talks about herself way to much. Not a good asset when you have a co host that is next to you. I stopped watching and enjoy watching the new show with Jeff Probst, its informative and relatable for real people. Sorry Kelly but your just to into yourself, and show is very boring now.

Please let Michael give the show’s greeting and date. Kelly, relax and let him do his part. He’s the reason that I started watching again. AND don’t let Gelman laugh into the microphone–too phoney.

I love the new show especially with very handsome Micheal I am a new fan, I record the show on my DVD everyday looking forward to watch it. The show makes me happy .
