   Perception was unbelievably fabulous last night. Tremendous two-parter–one of the best episodes of anything I’ve seen in years. What a great show–despite a couple of awful miscastings. Eric McCormack is off the hook, he’s so good.

   I still like Alphas but the potential for this show dropped it’s second season with the additional new characters. They needed to stick with their core team. The last episode had three separate storylines with the team split up. It worked better last season.

   Both ABC Family and SyFy need to not worry and realize that those are probably the best ratings both of their networks are gonna do on Monday

   If ABC and Disney owns this channel do they heavily advertise their shows on it?

   Yes, but only ones that cater to the same audience, like Revenge, Nashville, and 666 Park Avenue. Disney does not advertise its shows on ABC Family, though.

   KarenM: I tend to agree that adding Erin Way to Alphas, while the character is interesting, hasn’t improved it much. However, she may have a more important role to play in upcoming episodes, we’ll just have to see. No disrespect to her as an actress, she’s pretty good and was excellent in this episode.

   Personally, I think it was a good idea to bring Summer Glau back as Skylar, but I would have preferred her to be a more recurring character than Erin’s. It just makes tons of sense to have Skylar and her skills supporting the team whereas Erin, while capable of physical skills as well as mental ones, is just intruding on Cameron and Bill’s physical skill ground.

   I think the addition of Rosen’s daughter was a good idea. The addition of a boy friend for Rachel, not so much; that is just irrelevant to the main premise of the show. It probably was done because the season one relationship between Cameron and Nina was intended to be demolished in season two – which I’m not sure was a good idea either.

   Sorry, but this episode was one of the best in the series. The confrontation between Dr. Rosen and Parish is going to be outstanding.

   W13 after season 4 will only have 58 episodes not enough for syndication

   W13 still has 10 more episodes that start in April. The 4th season was for 20 episodes

    Syfy has nothing for me now. They’ve lost me. The stupid Saturday movies just don’t cut it. “Alphas” is passable, but don’t care if I see it. Stargate’s are gone & now they’ve canceled “Sanctuary.” Never cared For W13 although I like all the actors, just never got into it. Too much competition & too many other channels w/excellent programming now on Showtime,Starz, & always HBO. Changing the name to Syfy from SciFi, & showing wrestling means they could give a crap what the channel was. Love Face/off, Hot Set only seen one. I know I’m not the only viewer that has left.

    I’m so glad to see SyFy’s numbers continue to fal.
    It wasjust a mattter of time that this would happen becuase they have been cancelling so many good shows the past few years.
    They have pissed of so many fans of Sc-Fi that the have lost alot of viewers that would always watch whatever was on Syfy becuase they for the most past had something goos on.
    Now its a network filled with total garbage. Who wants to see wrestling and ghost shows along with all the reality shows ?? Definatly not me.

    Since I stopped watching SyFy I now have learned of so many other great shows on other networks. This past year I got hook on Supernatural and Fringe.
    SyFy does not have any shows that come even close in quality as these 2 shows.

    I just heard that Amanda Tapping will be appearing in Supernatural’s next season. I am so glad that AT has found another network that might actually appreciate her.

    I agree with Coolioni and TheEmulator23 although I feel really sorry for the Alphas & WH13 fans who will probably be losing their favorite shows next. Syfy seems to want to cancel all of their scripted shows about 3 or 4 seasons in. And they’re fools if they think that they can compete with Monday night football…especially in the southern states! Many football fans are also sci-fi fans but if forced to choose between the two they will choose to watch football. I’m saddened by Sanctuary’s cancelation and Syfy’s decision not to continue it with a miniseries or movie! I just wonder how many more Sci-fi fans they’ll alienate before they realize their new line ups aren’t working!

    I too am glad that Amanda Tapping will now be on the CW’s Supernatural. Although I would much rather have seen Sanctuary renewed and would have continued to watch Syfy if they had not set in motion the circumstances which resulted in Sanctuary’s cancelation. But I guess Syfy is okay with losing sci-fi fans to one of its competing networks!

    Good job for Switched at Birth. I was thinking Perception would go up for the finalle but sill a really great ending of the season.
