    I just reread the Wash. Ex. Obama’s series….. there is so much there

    This is what I knew before reading the Wash.Ex.

    A dean of the University of Chicago Law School said Barack Obama was never offered tenure, despite the assertions of a New York Times reporter who covers the president and the first family.

    “Other faculty members dreamed of tenured positions; [Obama] turned them down,” wrote Times White House Correspondent Jodi Kantor.

    Barack Obama was nothing like the legal scholar he’s purported to have been.

    “He did not hold the title of Professor of Law,” said Marsha Ferziger Nagorsky, an Assistant Dean for Communications and Lecturer in Law at the University of Chicago School of Law.

    According to the the highest tenured faculty member at Chicago Law, Obama applied for a position as an adjunct and wasn’t even considered. But soon afterward, the law school got a phone call from the Board of Trustees telling them to find him an office, put him on the payroll, and give him a class to teach. They said he didn’t have to be a member of the faculty, but they needed to give him a temporary position. He was never a professor… and barely an adjunct.

    *****What I didn’t know was how he was rated by the students that sat in his classes.

    More on the Libyan embassy attack

    Sufyan Ben Qumu was classified as a ‘medium to high’ national security risk before his release from American custody (on Bush’s watch 2007)

    Qumu reportedly was Osama bin Laden’s driver and worked for the al-Qaeda founder’s company in Sudan

    Libyans promised to keep him behind bars, but he was released in 2010

    The report came as a senior US official called the assault on the American diplomatic outpost a ‘terrorist attack.’

    It was the first time the White House has referred to the deadly incursion as terrorism and it undermines the US position that it was ‘spontaneous.’

    The White House added, ‘the facts that we have now indicate that this was an opportunistic attack on our embassy. Liar, liar, pants on fire. There were terrorists waiting to ambush consulate members at their safe house more than a mile away from the consulate.

    CBS reports this morning that it was a planned attack. That is in direct contradiction to the administration’s account of the incident.”

    And……….

    haha

  • Coffee Steve

    I’m still off and on readung that story d.d., the reporter has so far done an excellent job of reporting facts and not rumors.

    I’m getting some buzz on my news feed about a possible CBS report tonight again on the Libya attack story and the guy who may have lead the attack, a former Gitmo guy that was released 4 years ago under the (cough cough) agreement that he would remain in jail.

    After all this time, I still haven’t heard anyone ask, or any answers to, what are we going to do about a terrorist attack and murders on American Soil on another 911.

    BBL.. 3 important test to give, then I’ll finish reading that story…

  • Suikostinger

    @DB

    The far left libs are slowly coming back. Don’t hold it against them disappearing last nite. Boss was teaching a driver’s ed course for illegals at his community college, Jeff was holding an above ground pool party for all the folks who did not make the stage on the Price is Right for the week of March 8, 1983( he knows some of them personally), and suiko is working hard on new signs for Obama’s third term( “He did it twice, Why not thrice”). Pls don’t tell him about the constitution thing, it will ruin his day. Welcome back guys.

    You just can’t help it can you. LOL

  • Mark

    @Steve
    (note the Chris Crocker handle was left on this computer the last time i commented on this site making a leave Britney(Spears) alone joke, forgot to change it)

    I basically laugh at Obama getting 47% on the latest Ras. Poll because that is all those lazy moochers who have no drive(according to Romney)

  • d.d.

    Suik,

    I’m going to ask you a question, no offense intended. Why do you disproportionately rag on Fox vs MSNBC if you don’t watch either ? I don’t watch MSNBC , but, none of you see me even mention them unless I saw an online video , which is about never. I’m just curious why you do this .

    —————-

    Did you all catch this ?

    Pawlenty quits as Romney campaign co-chair

    —————

    Now, Rats & Coffe, I have to sweep & mop , plus wash clothes & it isn’t funny either.

  • Jeff

    Anyone watch the TV program Scandal?

    I do not, but they have my street all jacked up for filming today.

    If coffee Steve watches it, I’m definitely running up and down the street with
    ObamaBiden2012 sign in one hand and a coffee cup in another.

    ;)

    Really? This is what is done in here. People rag on one or the other. The right in here are always ragging on the “so called balanced media” calling it pmsnbc and the other. This forum USED to be about the ratings, when I joined until people got political. That’s what I was here for initially, when people started getting political, I was saying that this isn’t a political board, it’s about ratings but as you see, that never stopped. What I hate is when people that watch either one and actually think they are getting news from either one or that they think that either one is actually fair and balanced and they are actually voting on the president of the United States based on propaganda from either station, that’s what’s so sad.

    The right, for the most part, rag on MSNBC everyday in here then the next sentence, I never watch them! Why not go after them? :) But you do realize that I go to foxnews’ website all the time. Along with google news, yahoo news and CNN. Without actually watching the news stations I still see and hear the propaganda that they both spew from those sites….

  • Suikostinger

    Alright, lunch is over. Time to work! I gotta make those Obama signs as DB said.

  • Coffee Steve

    @d.d.

    Trust me I won’t make fun of house chores, my wife works so I do the majority of the cooking and cleaning, so I know

    @Mark
    The polls are getting comical now; I saw a poll yesterday that had Warren 6 up over Scott Brown, now just this morning the In-State UMass Lowell/Boston Herald poll shows Scott opening up a 50-44 lead. I honestly look at these like I do the NCAA Polls, 100% entertainment

    @Jeff
    If coffee Steve watches it, I’m definitely running up and down the street with ObamaBiden2012 sign in one hand and a coffee cup in another

    LOL…I started to say I would edit the sign out then I saw where you had coffee..The Video will NOT be edited :-)

  • Jeff

    Chick Fil A no longer giving money to Anti Gay and far right wing organizations that do not support equality.

    Mike Huckabee is being left out in the cold and is gonna have to get his chicken sandwich elsewhere.

    I’m glad they had a change of heart due to the wrong message they were sending as a business, and the enormous pressure they received from civil rights groups.

    They just opened one a few months ago on Sunset Blvd. and I drive past it all the time, and always wanted to try em out. Sadly it’s a walk-up style place with no dining room or drive thru. But with their change of heart and position I can eat outside on their patio. So you know what I will be having for lunch today!!

  • Coffee Steve

    @Jeff
    So you know what I will be having for lunch today!!

    As long as the chicken is dead I will still eat there :-)

  • Coffee Steve

    @d.d.
    Pawlenty quits as Romney campaign co-chair

    He was to soft anyway. He should have never been that high up.

  • Suikostinger

    Chik-fil-a is good. I love their chicken. I 100% disagreed with who they gave their money to but I was stilling eating there when I went to the next town over which had one. Glad that they have decided to give their money to hateful anti gay groups.

  • Suikostinger

    Glad that they have decided to STOP giving their money……***

  • clinging to my guns and god

    Rasmussen has Obobo at 51%…if that stays…it’s all over….sad to say

  • Mark

    @clinging to my guns and god

    Rasmussen has it Obama 47 Romney 45 according to Real Clear Politics, as long as Romney can get all the Federeal Tax Payers on his side he has a chance.

  • Mark

    Should be noted Gallup has it 47-47. It’s weird Rasmussen and Gallop more often then not seem to be opposite(ie When Romney goes down on one he goes up on the other)
