“CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD” REMAINS THE #1 SUNDAY MORNING NEWS PROGRAM IN HOUSEHOLDS, VIEWERS AND ADULTS 25-54

COMPARED TO THE SAME DAY LAST YEAR, “CBS SUNDAY MORNING” WAS UP +10% IN HOUSEHOLDS +4% IN VIEWERS AND +8% IN ADULTS 25-54

CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD was the #1 Sunday morning news program in households, viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sept. 16. CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.4/09 with 4.66m viewers, 1.3/06 in adults 25-54. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +10% in households (from 3.1/09), +4% in viewers (from 4.48m) and +8% in adults 25-54 (from 1.2/06).

 

Sunday’s broadcast featured Lee Cowan’s interview with legendary Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully; Tracy Smith’s visit with Ann and Nancy Wilson, the sisters who make up the rock group Heart; and Erin Moriarty’s talk with Damien Echols, who with two others spent decades in jail for the murders of three young boys before being released after an unusual plea deal in August 2011.

 

CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
