I see FNC is so much better than everybody in the ratings. It is because they tell us the truth where as these other liar networks fabricate the truth. The handling of this terrorist attck in Libya has been atrocious and a sin because they are drinking the cool aid of the administration. I bet if they reported the facts their ratings will go up.
Can’t we all just get along?
Rasmussen has BO leading in the both the presidential and the swing states polls. BO also leads in Nevada and Iowa. Rasumssen is one of the most trusted pollsters.
@Jason Let’s forget the fact that you can’t complain about a biased media if they apparently don’t matter because of lower ratings. But your statement about ratings comes down to this: is that why Fox News’ morning shows don’t do as well as Today, GMA or CBS? Is that why their Sunday morning show doesn’t do as well as Meet The Press or This Week or Face the Nation? Is that why Nightly News on any of the three major networks have the best ratings for news?
I wouldn’t raise the victory flag yet, either. MSNBC has grown steadily since 06 and is coming closer and closer to Fox’s ratings. Is MSNBC right around Greta and Hannity because they tell the truth? When Fox was losing to CNN prior to 2002 and 2003, was CNN telling the truth but not Fox?

NOW they are one of the MOST trusted!!!!
Just messin with you HRJ.

We can now add North Carolina to the BO column.
I think most people who watch MSNBC realize it’s news preaching to the choir. It makes me laugh when (some) people who watch FOX actually believe they are fair and balanced
I said it last thread and will repeat it here for those who say that Fox News ratings somehow make it the majority opinion of America. If you believe all other media including ABC, CBS and NBC news has a liberal bias, then you have to factor those numbers into who watched what kind of news. You can’t have it both ways and say Fox is the voice of America & the media is liberal, it’s either or since the big 3 media networks trump all cable station in terms of viewership
All that being said the big 3 media networks have the largest viewership no matter how you feel they are in terms of media bias and most likely appeal to the largest majority of the US.
@Jason
Fox News tells us the truth lol? Thanks for that. I needed a laugh today lol. Man you are funny.

Only BO wins NC is if he wins by a landslide(where it will be meaningless in terms of electoral votes needed to win). My guess is Romney takes NC even if BO pulls away in most other swing states
Lawrence O’Donnell beats Greta once again.
If Obama didn’t bounce bigger in North Carolina after a convention that took place there I don’t think it is going his way unless the landslide Mark mentions above comes true.
While Rasmussen, Ipsos, and RAND each have Obama up by 3-5 points (as of 9/20). Gallop has the race even. The polls are too volatile too take much away from them. The right wingers on here cling and preach loudly when Romney and the left wingers n here do the same when Obama is up.
Nate Silver’s Five-Thirty Eight Blog in yes the NYT.
-”…….Mr. Obama continues to get very strong results in state polls that use industry-standard methodology, meaning that they use live interviews and place calls to mobile phones along with landlines.”
-”But automated polls, like those from the Rasmussen Reports, have had lukewarm results for Mr. Obama. A Rasmussen Reports poll released on Thursday, for instance, put Mr. Obama three points behind in Iowa.”
-”In contrast to the six-point lead Mr. Obama has held on average among the swing-state polls that included cellphones, and the five-point lead he had on average among the YouGov Internet surveys, Mr. Obama has been ahead by just two points on average in polls that called landlines only, most of which were “robopolls” conducted by automated script.”
Nate Silver predicted every state correctly in 2008 with the exception of Indiana.

So you want me to prove I’m Sicilian? You talkin to me…cause I know you ain’t talkin to me. OH! You think I’m funny I’m here to amuse you…I’m like a clown…Jeff ya mut ya.
Actually I’m half Sicilian and half Polish. Half dumb…half crazy.
FOX has been Telling the Truth since DAY ONE…thus, “Fair and Balanced” is
their motto…the Wannabee’s never promoted a similar motto because they
don’t think that way…to do so now, would be so obvious…leave us not
forget, their 2nd motto is “We report., you decide.”

Yeah I don’t see NC(15 electoral votes) being that state that puts Obama over 270. If their is one state that the economy(I believe the unemployment rate is close to 10%) will kill Obama it’s NC
If the feeling for Romney becomes that big a negative, maybe he squeaks out a win in NC(like last time) but in that case his electoral count will be like 330+ and he would win a couple other states that would normally go red in a normal election(say like Arizona)

So if somebody says something(ie Fair and Balanced) it must be the truth? By any chance do you want to buy some cheap beachfront land in Florida. Believe me it’s really prime real estate

Here is a good look at Fox News

Obama has a small lead. He got a bounce from the Romney fundraiser tape.
Afghanistan is a abject failure. His Mid. east policy is a wreck. Unemployment is through the roof. People are making less than they did when he took office. The debt is over 16 trillion, 10.6 when he took office. Inflation is rearing it’s ugly head at the grocery store and gas pump. Can anyone say QE3. Unemployment went up in 26 states, down in 12, last month.
It’s not his record that has him in the lead. The corrupt vermin in the lib. media is a nice poodle to own.
I said this the other day and it is worth repeating. He needs to kill Bin Laden again.
Can’t we all just get along?
What if there were a ticket with Keith Olbermann (president) and Alan Colmes
(Vice President)? I said; what if.
There is something mentally wrong with people like Dick “the green beret” Blumenthal and Elizabeth “pocahontis” Warren.
I called them mentally wrong and you on left call them Senator.
