On a state by state case he is looking very good though.
Even Kark Rove’s electoral math has it this way.
- 214 Obama + 27 Lean Obama = 241 Obama
- 154 Romney + 37 Lean Romney = 191 Romney
__________
In this scenario Obama could loose Wisconsin, Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina, Iowa, and Colorado and win Florida and Nevada and win. Literally Romney would have to win 6 of 8 swing states that Rove has highlighted.
-Other paths to victory for Obama exist involving 3 states of the swings.
-It goes without saying that electoral maps from an equal side over on the left have a much bleaker picture for Romney.

I never watched the Simpsons. I guess you are getting old when you can’t watch cartoons anymore even smart ones like The Simpsons and King of the Hill.
@
Sam
Okay that was kind of cute but it’s still a cartoon.
@Papa
In all reality I think the Republicans should be running away with this election but the problem is they have turned into a party so far to the right for many people Obama is the less of 2 evils.
I personally think Romney’s biggest problem is he is trying to pander to the extremes of his base at times, that it’s turning off voters. The problem is if he doesn’t pander to them they would cause him an equal amount of grief. I do think Moderate Mitt would be polling much better then “extreme conservative” Mitt(although I guess one could argue depending what crowd he is infront of is how his speeches come off)
HRJ wrote: “…What if there were a ticket with Keith Olbermann (president) and Alan Colmes (Vice President)? I said; what if.”
If that happened and if I ran their campaign, our slogan would be Win, Alan Colmes/Keith Olbermann, WACKO for short.
Last night Jon Stewart showed how utterly ridiculous Fox Comedy News is. If you really want a good laugh, just watch Fox Comedy News for a few minutes. Anyone who thinks they are “fair and balanced” just are plain dumb. Fox is journalism at it’s worst and I feel sorry for those sheep who believe they are “telling the truth”. Fox is the National Enquirer of the news. It just doesn’t get any worse.

Evan Thomas said the lib. media is worth 10% points to the Democrat. He’s right, when you can saturate the news airwaves with attacks on the Republican that is a huge advantage.
You can be right wing conservative and win big but you have to be able to defeat the lib. media. That means watching everything you say off the cuff.
@Mark
You are right.
With the economy the way it is Romney should be doing better than he is.
I am afraid the damage has been done with independents who are liberal on social issues but more conservative on economic issues. They have a hard time with the shift to the right the R party has taken. This would have been Santorum had run but his strong candidacy helped push the party to the right.
I personally believe that independents who are liberal on social issues but conservative on the economy outnumber independents who are conservative on social issues and liberal on the economy.
Can’t we all just along?

I enjoyed the video. I don’t know if you made any points with Betty. I do know that you have pissed off a lot of people who post on this blog. The video may have been nothing but good entertainment to most but the video included clips of Hannity. There are persons who post this blog who regard Hannity as someone very near to God.
You really messed up. If you have friends who are former Marines, have them guard your house tonight. Hannity people are all over the place and they believe that they are correct. How well do you know your wife?
Please my friend be careful.
@Papa
I think the general public in America on a whole is a bunch of moderates who lean slightly to the right. Problem for the republicans is that the Democrats are much closer to that middle point then the Republicans are as a whole.
All this Obama is a socialist stuff just comes off as meaningless campaign rhetoric, especially when you lump it with him not being American, A Muslim, etc(ie stuff that comes off rather demeaning and turns people off the side that keeps spewing it).
The initial onslaught from the lib. media is not what kills you when you are a Republican and you make a mistake. They run what I like to call saturation news against you. They do story after story for weeks on end until people at home say this must be really bad. It’s generally called propaganda and it works.
When a network runs 27 anti-Romney stories in 8 hours me thinks that is not journalism or fair and balanced. (MSNBC). What will they have after the election?
@bishop….What’s Fox gonna do after Obama wins?
@Marcus

In all reality it’s in Fox’s news best interest to have Obama win, it gives them more material. Much like for MSNBC it would be better ratings wise to have the Republicans in power
@Bishop who said:
“When a network runs 27 anti-Romney stories in 8 hours me thinks that is not journalism or fair and balanced. (MSNBC). What will they have after the election?”
Could you cite your source for that? I googled it and found nothing. I’m not saying it is not true or impossible as it is MSNBC but still curious where you got that number?
@Sicilian Papa….I guess the “lib. media” does the same thing the conservative media does.
@mark….Even when Obama wins, MSNBC will have plenty of material. Just look at the House Republicans who keep obstructing every decent bill that helps all Americans when they come up for vote. They even just blocked legislation to help returning war veterans with job training and help with housing and medical care. They won’t even consider voting on a Farm bill to help out farmers devastated by the drought. Believe me, they’ll have plenty of material.
If obama gets reelected, will he blame the ‘previous’ administration ?
Studies show that a good portion of the population, particularly younger people, get their political news from Stewart, Colbert and other entertainment sources. It would be funny if it wasn’t so tragic. While MSNBC and CNN have spent their time trying to find new ways to demonize Romney, radicals all over the middle east are stepping on our flag. And it took our government 9 days to admit what was obvious to everyone else: Libya was a deliberate terrorist attack. Obama’s foreign policy is a disgrace that has turned our country into a laughing stock but hey, at least he’s more likeable than Romney. Personally I don’t like Romney, but I don’t want him to be my bff. I don’t want hang out or party with him. I want him to use his expertise to get us out of this mess. Now that his taxes our out, media is whimpering about he only paid 14% while ignoring the fact that he gave 30% of his income away. Liberal media is a disgrace… And let’s be real, even if Fox wants to he as biased for the right as MSNBC and CNN are for the left, that’s their prerogative. It’s not like cable news were a paragon of objectivity before Fox came along.
