   How old are you? 17? You’re proud to use Comedy Central as your source for news? Can you formulate a single cohesive, concrete and well-informed argument as to why you think Obama is actually better qualified than Romney? Or is it just because you think Obama is cool and hip? I mean, do you really think that politics is about comedy? Right now people you don’t know with power you can’t imagine are making decisions that will impact every area of your life. You find that funny?

   Yes the conservative media does the same with out the reach of the so-called objective media. ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC. On the right you have FOX and that is it.

   I think the general public in America on a whole is a bunch of moderates who lean slightly to the right. Problem for the republicans is that the Democrats are much closer to that middle point then the Republicans are as a whole.

   All this Obama is a socialist stuff just comes off as meaningless campaign rhetoric, especially when you lump it with him not being American, A Muslim, etc(ie stuff that comes off rather demeaning and turns people off the side that keeps spewing it).

   Mark, agree with a lot of your post. I do however thing that the D’s may or may not be closer to the middle than the R’s, but they (and the media) do a great job of making it seem like they are closer to the middle. Regardless of how you feel about the President I think most will agree he is a bit more left than someone like B. Clinton, but your comment shows that many think he is in the middle.

   The Repubs. are right to block spending bills. When you are borrowing 40 cents of every dollar we spend. I would love to do more for vets but right now we can’t.

   A friend of mines wife is a Psychologist in the Hartford School system. A group of kids, not one, seven or eight of them said to her that she was stupid for working. They are going to collect welfare when they grow up. These are tweeners growing up in the inner city in 2012 with this mindset. That is a depressing situation.

   I must admit I can see how the “fair and balanced” theme does annoy people. Question I have is this: Are not the mainstream networks with their denials of a left bias in essence saying the same thing? Or am I reaching?

    @Babygate…Read my post again. I never said I get my news from Jon Stewart. But that’s a great place to go to see how absurd Fox is, if not from the source itself. Obama is qualified because he simply isn’t a millionaire elitist who is so out of touch with reality that it’s dangerous. Romney is completely clueless about the makeup of our country and the kind of people we are. Just his moronic comment about the 47% who are takers and never pay taxes show how ignorant and unqualified he is to be president. He’s a complete embarrassment in foreign affairs.

    So once again, read my post. How old are you? 10? That you don’t even comprehend what I said shows me how brain dead you must be.

If we can throw money away on useless wars (thanks Bush) that cost many times more than requested for our heroes, than we have the money. Get real. Republican right wingers use that excuse because they don’t want anything good to happen while Obama is President. Shameless.

    President Obama response:
    “Now, for some reason my opponent got really excited. He rewrote his speech real quick. He stood up at a rally, proudly declared, `I’ll get the job done from the inside.’” He said. “What kind of inside job is he talking about?”

    I don’t think he ever was, even at the State level, but he’ll skip that step and go straight to the White House and pass go and collect his 200,000 salary.

    Hmm…If Romney is such a bad guy, how come he’s willing to take a huge pay cut?
