FOX has decided to substitute singing for cooking. The network has changed its schedule, bumping three original episodes of Kitchen Nightmares, scheduled to air Fridays September 28-October 12 at 8PM , for repeats of The X Factor. Kitchen Nightmares. The network has not announced when it will air Kitchen Nightmares. On Friday October 19, FOX will telecast baseball playofrfs. On October 26 at 8PM, the second season of Touch will premiere. The X Factor grew from its first week to its second, continuing a singing competition trend started by its arch rival The Voice.

Mondays at 9pm?
@Agnes, that would be the ideal situation i think. Cos The Mob Doctor’s obviously DOA, and as the bonus episode showed Touch will die a quiet and painful death on Fridays, and considering The Following won’t be ready until midseason, Touch to Mondays at 9 sounds perfect.
Fox is about 72 hours away from announcing Kitchen Nightmares’ move to Mondays at 9pm. Told ya Touch was staying put.
Ramsay is turning out to be quite the MVP for Fox…

Writing the poll post now!
I see good ratings in Fringe’s future!
Yeah I agree FOX is saving Kitchen Nightmares for Monday. Mob Doctor won’t last
Gordon Ramsay, savior of Fox Monday, poll post is live!
Why would you care about good ratings for Fringe at this point?
Ehhh “/
This tv season gets more interesting by the hour.
Loving it !
@Slam, Well if the ratings are too bad, FOX might pull it and leave some episodes unaired.
@Jon23812
This will NEVER happen. FOX can be a bastard about new shows, but there is no way in hell that they do not show all 13 episodes of a show in its final 5th season.
My guess is that FOX will give Mob doctor one more week than Touch will move to Mondays at 9 and Kitchen Nightmares will premiere its new season along side Fringe in a few weeks.
I guess Gordon is moving to Monday.
Why hasn’t anybody said anything about “The X Factor” repeats going in at 8:00 pm? I know it’s only a temporary scheduling but it seems more like FOX trying to replicate the somewhat successful pattern NBC has used for “The Voice” and “AGT”. Personally, I don’t watch “The X Factor” or any singing or dancing competition series so it’s of no interest to me but I wonder who watches repeats of shows like that.
Any ideas?
Some people are too busy during the week, so Friday is a perfect time for repeat viewing.
I would have thought it a better strategy to run a “Deleted Auditions” version with previously unaired footage……Perhaps the contracts would have treated that as a “new” episode and FOX would have to pay a higher license fee.
@ X-Factor
Then why are Sun-Thurs ratings so much higher than Fri?
