The X Factor was adjusted up a tenth, Wipeout was adjusted down two tenths and The Next was adjusted down three tenths among adults 18-49 versus the preliminary Thursday broadcast ratings. Both Wipeout and The Next were pre-mpted for football in local markets.

Glee doesn’t have to beat any of the other shows, correct but it’s been the top spot for 9pm and I just think that it will be ending this week for sure.
Grey is a powerhouse still. In it’s 8th season it still goes for the top spot in that time slot; it really is the show to beat. POI is the only show to give it some competition in that last few years.It was a killer in first few seasons.
Winning the hour is just PR spin because how well an ABC show or a CBS show does has little to no effect on a FOX show’s chance of getting renewal. I’m not even saying that Grey’s and POI won’t go 1 and 2 because that’s a safe bet, but those accomplishments mean very little when it comes to the big picture.

You’re right, Glee won’t make it to season 8 because the creators probably don’t want it to go much past season 5 (Ryan Murphy has said as much), so go ahead and pat yourself on the back for being oh so smart.
@Oscar. Glee cannot make an eight-year season. Season 5 or 6 is still possible.
I love Grey’s Anatomy, P&R and GLEE! I don’t know what show will win! But I have high hopes for this three shows!
Scandal had a very poor opening. I think it needs to move to 9:00 slot. Too fast and frenetic for 10:00. I had to concentrate hard to keep up with scenes and dialog. I could not fall asleep. Just saying. I hope TPTB are reading this suggestion.
