Will Be the First Time A Sitting British

Prime Minister Visits The CBS Late Night Broadcast

British Prime Minister David Cameron will make his first visit to the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, Wednesday, Sept. 26 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.  This will be the first time a sitting British Prime Minister visits the CBS late night broadcast.

Cameron, who has been Prime Minister of the United Kingdom since 2010, will be in New York to take part in the U.N. General Assembly.  While this is the first time a current British prime minister will appear on the LATE SHOW, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair has been a guest on the broadcast twice – Sept. 8, 2009 and Oct. 5, 2010.

Also visiting the LATE SHOW on Wednesday, Sept. 26 is actor Jonny Lee Miller, star of the highly anticipated CBS drama series ELEMENTARY, which premieres Thursday, Sept. 27 on the Network.

The LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN is a production of Worldwide Pants Incorporated.  Barbara Gaines, Matt Roberts, Jude Brennan, Maria Pope, Eric Stangel, Justin Stangel and Rob Burnett are the executive producers.

    How embarrassing for Cameron,

  • Adam

    Interesting booking.

Letterman frequently has some of the best conversations on late night television. Reminds me a lot of Jack Paar.

Lord knows you’ll find nothing intelligent on NBC at that hour. (Or any hour except Meet the Press.)

  • Mario

Nobody cares about the stupid redcoat prime minister. Most Americans don’t even know who he is.

At least it’ll give Dave a chance to say we kicked their ass in the war!
