I knew you couldn’t back up what you said. Some things never change. Your post above is totally false.
suiko, you said you were Jessica in your own post!!!
Can’t we all just get along? NO, that would take the fun out of it.
The BS that is aired by the news media and all the political BS in commercials and campagning is waisted on 90% of the population that already have their minds made up. They did not need to know what the politician plans to do.
Since the political ideologies of the Democratic and Republican Parties have not changed in 100 years the results of what ever they do will end up either in inflation or a financial bubble. Both cases will result in decreasing living standards for many Americans and the Politicians will say that it is someone elses fault.
If Politicians knew what they are doing when they practice their Political Economics we should not have financial bubbles, recessions and inflation. Maybe that is why they do not want to talk about what their plan is nor do we demand to hear what they plan to do. We already know that what ever they do it will probably will end badly and we can blame who ever is in office at the time.
Sice 1929 The average recession lasts 11 months and the average recovery lasts 4 years and 10 months. There was on expansion that lasted almost 10 years and another that lasted almost 8 years. The current recovery is 3 years and 3 months (June 2009 to present). Chances are very good that we will have a recession between the beginning of 2013 and the end of 2016.
The big question will be will the bond markets continue financing government debt or will we be like Greece or Spain except there is not Germany to bail the federal government out? Will the Fed be the federal governments lender of last resort? Kind of like a bankrupt Company lending itself money so that it can continue to exist. I think that was what Enron did. If it worked for Enron for a while it may work for our government for a while.
Wow!!! MSNBC beat Fox News in the Primetime Demo again. What the heck is going on?
Hey Doug, I got a better idea. How about we just go back to the Reagan years where he taxed the rich at a 50% tax rate and the 20% capital gains tax rate throughout the majority of his Presidency.
Tax rates under Reagan—from Wikipedia
The top tax rate was lowered from 50% to 28% while the bottom rate was raised from 11% to 15%. Many lower level tax brackets were consolidated, and the upper income level of the bottom rate (married filing jointly) was increased from $5,720/year to $29,750/year. This package ultimately consolidated tax brackets from fifteen levels of income to four levels of income.[3] This would be the only time in the history of the U.S. income tax (which dates back to the passage of the Revenue Act of 1862) that the top rate was reduced and the bottom rate increased concomitantly. In addition, capital gains faced the same tax rate as ordinary income. Some sources claim the loopholes and tax expenditures after lobbying, but others argue the rise in corporate taxes offset any benefit.[4][5]
The rate structure also maintained a novel “bubble rate.” The rates were not 15%/28%, as widely reported. Rather, the rates were 15%/28%/33%/28%. The “bubble rate” of 33% simply elevated the 15% rate to 28% for higher-income taxpayers. As a result, for taxpayers after a certain income level, TRA86 provided a flat tax of 28%. This was jettisoned in the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1990, otherwise known as the “Bush tax increase”, which violated his Taxpayer Protection Pledge.
after just watching Jaun Williams on Brett Bair, he has lost ALL credability and belongsd sitting on a Chris Matthews panel! The way he just tried to defend what Obama said and how he is ignoring meetings and going on the view instead is embarrassing, and just plain stupid!
Saw that Ratboy. Krauthamer didn’t let him get away with it.
Msnbc has burst that bubble fox news and you fox sheep have been in. Rachel crushed hannity in the key demo a few times this week and also oreilly. Meanwhile cnn is irrelevant
Stephanie Miller and Bill Press are still on Current. They were on this morning.
@Ratboy
Juan Williams
Some time ago there was some Buzz that Juan was agreeing a little to much with the rest of them and since he was hired to give the liberal view it was kinda suggested he appreared to be more liberal. I’m beginning to think it was true.
*Ahmadinejad: ‘ISRAEL WILL BE ELIMINATED’
Nawww he doesn’t mean it does he? He’s a reasonable man and we should just talk to him, right?
May A Desert Camel mistake Ahmadinejad’s mouth for a place to lay camel dung!
Heres a little news for ya
Romney’s is now going to Shift Campaign Strategy: What Will Next Four Years Look Like?

*New Poll From The Miami Herald: Obama 48 Romney 47
The presidential race in Florida remains a tight contest, according to The Miami Herald/El Nuevo Herald/Tampa Bay Times poll.

@ Coffee Steve
First, welcome back to planet Earth!
I dont think that Williams is just following orders. I think he like many of the other libs are getting scared and desperate! Remember he came out with the shot on Romneys wife after she spoke at the RNC and that spashed all over the place. He has said some really stupid stuff on Hannity latley too. He is gone extreme. All that said I think it is a good thing that FOX lets him go and rant as it shows that they really do hear both sides. Michael Steele was put on the bench by MSNBC some months back and given a time out for being too right. That was around the same time they dumped Pat Buchanan.

They do seem to have taken a throw anything out there approach. May also explain President Obama’s skipping meetings and meeting with world leaders and so many appearences on some talk shows. I’m not joking Rats all indications are the internal pollings are showing something different that whats being reported.
Even at last nights emmy’s when Kimmel ask the audience who was voting for Romney, he almost fainted when many in the crowd cheered.
And Did you see Axelrod go balsitic when someone at MSNBC ask him a question on Soc. Sec.? He really lost it, it even threw the host off guard.
Coffee, Rats just heard on Lou Dobbs that movie revenue is down 25% from last year. Could be just the economy. Or it could be that you don’t insult half of the population and expect them to pay money to see your movies.
@Ratboy
First, welcome back to planet Earth!
