Well, ‘normal’ has returned to cable news. Greta off a little in the demo. But, as few have said here, FNC’s complete dominance will continue after the Election.
If by normal, you mean continued increased numbers by MSNBC and static ones by FNC, you are correct! Beating someone 1400 to 1100, btw, isn’t domination. MSNBC is hot on their tail.
You can tell is election season when ratings go up for MSNBC. Rachel is gaining on Hannity in viewers. She’s the most likable of all MSNBC hosts. Good for her. Don’t like how they completely neglect anything that is negative for Obama like say, foreign policy, unemployment and the deficit but hey, at least she’s fun to watch.
O’Donnell beats Greta again.
O’Reilly killed it! Looks like typical ratings.
Martin Bashir is pretty funny. “Mitt Romney looks disheveled speaking to the crowd” Well yeah, it’s windy outside you dumb a$$. Looks like he is trying to make it look like nobody showed up. I guess trying to deflect the fact that Obama’s attendance is not what it was 4 years ago. He is blatanly in the bag for this President and it is a shame he cannot report fairly.
There are fair questions MSNBC should be asking of the White House that they just flat out won’t address. Instead it is a 24/7 slamfest on Romney. Even their commercials are all geared to the Obama agenda. Shameful. You don’t see that on Fox.
Early Start/Starting Point at 200. Any bets as to how much longer CNN lets this terrible program stay on the air?
FNC 2, MSNBC 1.
Bill O number 2 (non sports show) total viewers – 3221.
WWE number 1 (non sports show) total viewers – 3.990
@
Marco
FNC ate MSNBC for lunch on Monday. They win if you add CNN and MSNBC numbers combined against FOX.
@letmethink
I ask myself that about most of their primetime lineup, and yet its still there. The only ones surprised by their bad ratings is CNN. Poor folks don’t have a clue.
@ babygate
She does get a glow in her eyes and very excitable when she feels like she is really sticking it to the Republicans. It is fun to watch.
actually Erin’s demos is getting higher lately, but overall CNN still sucks overall.
The question is “how long will CNN be in existence?”
MSNBC will do well until after the elections. As a conservative, I watch all 3 cable networks. During the regular season, it’s FOX by a bit more, but now I try to view them equally as often as possible.
@Moncon
She does get a glow in her eyes and very excitable when she feels like she is really sticking it to the Republicans
That’s her secret, she does it in fun, and non hatefully. Even I can stand watching that gal at times. I don’t mind the biased if it’s done in a way that’s fun. Its even funny at times.
Just say this on Matthews

POLL: Most Republicans Still Believe That Iraq Had WMD
A new poll conducted by Dartmouth government professor Benjamin Valentino found that 63 percent of Republican respondents still believe that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction when the United States invaded in 2003
—————–
I am not sure what’s scarier, 63% of republicans feel that way or 15% of Democrats believe it as well. lol
Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O’Donnell are on FIRE!!!
Hey Hillbilly, total viewers don’t mean as much as the Demos.
I will re-post this. I posted it on yesterdays board. All the yee ha’s and yahooo’s cant override the reality.
Fox News Ranks Behind Only ESPN And USA In Primetime Total Viewers Last Week
During last week’s primetime (8-11 p.m.) programming, Fox News ranked third among all cable channels, only behind ESPN and USA Network. Despite several losses to MSNBC in the primetime demo during several hours last week, Fox still topped its cable news competitors overall for the week. Competitor MSNBC came in 11th place among all cable channels and CNN ranked 31st behind networks like Hallmark, HGTV, and the Food Network. This is the second consecutive week that CNN has been beaten by Hallmark in primetime viewership. In total daytime viewership, Fox placed 4th behind Nickelodeon, ESPN, and USA Network. MSNBC ranked 14th in daytime viewership, and CNN remained in 31st
Whazzup at Current TV now? My cable provider has a guide for all channels extending for about two weeks. It showed Vanguard documentaries in the time slots for Bill Press, Stephanie Miller, Joy Behar and Jennifer Granholm. There’s a sliding schedule at current.com, and now it shows that these shows are still supposed to be on on Monday, October 1st. I wonder if they send a schedule to the cable providers based on revenue from their advertisers that have submitted checks that clear. Shortly after Keith Olbermann’s show started, and even before the Young Turks, the “quality” of Current TV advertisers shot up: auto manufacturers, insurance companies, Northland Fruit Juices, etc, just like on the other cable news channels and the Faux Right-Wing Propaganda Network.
Greta is the only ‘Fair and Balanced Liberal’ on cable…
And the spin goes on and on and on and on and on……………………
WaPo’s Kessler Assigns Three ‘Pinocchios’ to True Claim Obama Missing Nearly Half His Intel Briefings
Washington Post fact checker Glenn Kessler publisheda column yesterday attempting to debunk the claim in an American Crossroads television spot that President Obama skipped almost half of his intelligence briefings. Kessler assigned the assertion a 3 out of 4 possible Pinocchios. No matter how Kessler spins it, however, the fact remains that President Obama failed to receive in-person intelligence briefings in the days leading up to the September 11 assassination of Ambassador Chris Stevens.
