Champion New York Giants travel to Philadelphia to take on Michael Vick and the NFC East rival Eagles on . Coverage begins Sunday with Football Night in America at 7 p.m. ET.
Both teams enter this important NFC East matchup at 2-1. The Giants look to keep the momentum going and capitalize on their two game win streak, as the Eagles try to rebound after a difficult loss last week in Arizona.
Calling Giants-Eagles is six-time Emmy Award-winner Al Michaels (play-by-play), in his 27th season asof the NFL’s premier primetime package; 13-time Emmy Award-winner Cris Collinsworth, who has won the Emmy for outstanding event analyst in each of his three seasons in the booth; and sideline reporter Michele Tafoya, who, last year in her first season with SNF, won the inaugural Emmy Award for Outstanding Sports Reporter.
Football Night in America is hosted by 23-time Emmy Award-winner Bob Costas, who will report from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa. Costas will be joined on site by Michaels and Collinsworth and two-timewinner Hines Ward.
Dan Patrick co-hosts Football Night from NBC's Studio 8G at 30 Rockefeller Plaza on Sunday night. Patrick is joined by-winning head coach Tony Dungy, two-time winner Rodney Harrison, Peter King of Sports Illustrated, and Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk on NBC Sports Network and NBCSports.com. Carolyn Manno will report from Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis., on the Saints-Packers game.

NFL TURNING POINT WEDNESDAY NIGHTS, 10 P.M. ET on NBC SPORTS NETWORK
Emmy-nominated NFL Turning Point, NBC Sports Network’s weekly NFL show co-produced by NFL Films, airs this Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET. This week’s episode features: Cincinnati quarterback Andy Dalton, wide receiver AJ Green and a close look at the bizarre final sequence in the Bengals–Redskins game; an in-depth analysis of the Patriots–Ravens game, including quarterback Joe Flacco’s aggressive play in the fourth quarter; and compelling in-game audio from Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson during Arizona’s win over Philadelphia. SNF NO. 1 SHOW OF THE WEEK: For the third straight week Sunday Night Football was the No. 1 primetime broadcast of the week among viewers, households and all the key adult and male demos.
SNF IS NO. 1 SHOW OF THE NIGHT, TOPS EMMY’S: For the fifth straight time that Sunday Night Football went head-to-head with the Emmy Awards (NBC aired the Emmys in 2010), SNF delivered a convincing victory, topping the awards program this year by eight million viewers (21.3 million vs. 13.3 million).
SNF STARTS STRONG: NBC’s four-game average viewership of 23.5 million is just three percent off from last year’s 24.2 million for NBC’s opening three weeks of the NFL season, the second-best start in the seven-year history of Sunday Night Football, and the second-best start to a season for a primetime package in 16 years (23.6 million for ABC in 1996).

Sunday Night Football was the No. 1 ranked show on Twitter on Sunday with more than 399 thousand unique users, and more than 1 million tweets.

SNF NO. 1 PRIMETIME PROGRAM ON TELEVISION
For the 2011-2012 primetime television season (September 19-April 16), Sunday Night Football ranked as the most-watched (persons 2+) and highest-rated show, and the No. 1 program across the key demographics of Adults 18-49, 18-34, 25-54, as well as Men 18-49, 18-34 and 25-54, based on Nielsen live + same day data. Additionally, SNF was the No. 3 show among Women 18-34, and the No. 4 show among Women 18-49.
