Castle was down most likely because it was a horrible episode. It looks like next week it will be back to the light-heartedness that it is known for and the focus will be off Kate’s mother’s murder. Anytime they have Kate’s mother’s murder that’s a real turn-off for fans of the show. They need to just drop it entirely in my opinion.

NO. It aired 2 episodes.
ABC tends to have very female oriented programs. DWTS and Castle BOTH are very female oriented as are Once Upon a Time, Revenge and thier other shows.
CBS: I think will rebound in the coming weeks. They will most likely reshuffle thier line-up.
NBC: The Voice shows the popularity of AI-type live singing shows which seem to be a ratings winner. NBC should stick with this non-scripted show because many of thier scripteds tend to not do well. I also think they benefitted from premeiring thier shows early. People naturally sampled them because there was nothing on but reruns. However, if the writing tanks, people will soon find other options.
Oh and also, Revolution’s setting is remonicent of The Hunger Games which was very post-apocalyptic. This may make younger viewers attracted to the show. (It also has a female archer lead, like The Hunger Games.)I was the first thing I thought of when I saw the series.

As to OUAT and Revenge, I see OUAT doing a 2.5 or 2.6 with Revenge going down to a 2.2.

Lot of buzz going on in regards to CBS low ratings on monday , some people are even saying the Nielsen ratings are wrong … very weird start to the 2012-2013 season

H50 is the biggest loser of the night LOL.
CBS moved CSI Miami for a show that killed the numbers in that slot. Bad laughable plot and even worse acting. They were lucky until now that only had Castle there .If not h50 would had been crashed earlier. It was canceled in Australia last season.
Poor TNT. LOL. They really are paying for a brand new Benz and getting a 10 year old Toyota.
CBS was too full of itself and they deserve what happened.
Yes, this new Monday shakeout would take some time to settle or even grow, but starting the new season like this was a big mistake.
Week 1: 1-hour HIMYM, 2BG, new show.
Week 2: HIMYM, M&M, 2BG, new show.
AND the new show should’ve been something A LOT better than Partners.
ABC ony has 2 hit comedies – 1 of them is even lower rated than all 5 CBS hits – yet they managed their block much better than CBS just did for 3 years going.
CBS has 4 tentpoles and 1 hit, yet they screwed up big time.
