I guess at this point it’s pointless to go on saying ABC needs to stop wasting the Monday DWTS lead-in on Castle–they waited too long, and now that lead-in has been officially flushed down the toilet on a worthless unpopular show.

  2. Percysowner

Ouch for both Castle and H-50. Good for Revolution. Now NBC has to cross its fingers that Revolution settles in.

    @Bill Gordman

So even if H50 continues to pull those low ratings it will be renewed? (I hope your right)

    or were you being sarcastic?

  4. Ashley

Wow, big drop in Castle! it’s only going to go down from the premiere too. Glad Bones remained constant. That show has had the most loyal fans for 8 whole season! So happy!

Bones got the .1 bump, hardly any drop off from the premiere…surprised Castle took the nosedive it did (-.4), and still haven’t wrapped my head around H50′s swan dive into oblivion

I didn’t know Castle had been preemepted . Guess the drop was expected. But dwts is weak this season, that won’t help Castle.
I didn’t think h5o could drop even more, 1.8 demo ? And the lead in was 3.1, so it dropped like a ball after M&M.
I think it is a sure bet that NBC will win Mondays this Fall.

Oh, and also, Happy Endings will flop major time. DWTS was never a good match to begin with, but with these numbers, and adding to that the unforeseen popularity of Go On, it will sink very fast. I love the show, so I hate to say this, but I just don’t see it making it at this point, the DWTS lead-in was its best hope. This is gonna be a loooong year for me and my shows from what I am seeing :S

Also, I am puzzled no one is giving Bones credit.

Still not great for Hawaii 5-0, big drop for Castle. I hope How I Met Your Mother goes up next week, it started with a very strong episode

  9. Tom

I guessed DWTS was going down two tenths for airing in Milwaukee. Assuming two tenths of Castle was the same, that was a lot of delayed channel changing from DWTS to something else (Rev?).

H50 dropping to that point is not a shocker. It was frequently in the low 2s, and a direct action alternative will obviously hit their ratings. Who knows what will happen – if Vegas flops, they move H50 to Tuesday, they keep pat and see if Smash airs in the slot, or anything else.

I could actually see Bones beating DWTS in some weeks, giving Fox some reason to smile on Mondays

  11. John A

Wow ratings are just awful for all networks.

  12. Chris

Castle got a 3.2 in the demo for its premiere last September–and boy did that not hold up over the course of the season.

It’s going to average maybe 1.5, and I honestly think that’s cancellation-worthy if it happens. ABC has given it too many chances. Hell, ABC should have strangled it in its crib.

  13. KarenM

Help! All my shows are crashing and burning!

  14. Kavyn

Alright, to any (maybe like one of you) that have been watching LAC with me, did anyone else think a certain someone was going to get shot at the end? Based

  15. TVMAN

Good for Bones. Even with premier

  16. Cory

H5O has 2 million $ deal with TNT so it’s safe for minimum 2 seasons, CBS may changed its time slot to Sunday or Friday but it’s not going anywhere soon.

  17. Kavyn

(Oops, computer messed up). Based on how the ending was going, I really thought it was going to end up with someone getting shot in the middle of their speech. I’m kind of surprised they didn’t actually lol.

  18. Justin

I’m going to say something I thought I’d never say.

Those CW Ratings are worse than usual.

  19. Sid

This might sound a bit dramatic, but I’m having a panic attack right now worrying over Five-0′s ratings!

Will this show make it past Season 3?

  20. Nadine

Perhaps DWTS shouldn’t have pegged so much treasure on Crystal Palin? (Republicanism skews old) :-) :-) :-)
