NBC Leads Among Adults 18-49, and with Total Viewers in Week 53 Ending September 23, 2012

In week 53 of the broadcast television season ending Sunday, September 23 2012,NBC notched first place among adults 18-49, with a 3.0 rating average. Runner-up CBS earned a 1.9 rating average. FOX and  ABC came in third and fourth with a 1.8 and 1.7 rating average, respectively,and Univision  was fifth with a 1.4 18-49 rating. The CW finished last with a 0.3 adults 18-49 rating average.

NBC also won the week with total viewers, averaging 8.44 million viewers, ahead of second place CBS with 7.86 million viewers. FOX was third with 5.19 million, followed by ABC with 5.98 million, Univision with 3.46 million, and the CW with 0.77 million.

Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.265 million adults 18-49.
