   He actually scrapped his original speech outline to focus on the controversial YouTube video that many have suggested sparked recent anti-American attacks in the Middle East, including one in Libya that killed a U.S. Ambassador and other Americans. Making this video the focus of his speech was inappropriate. He should have used the international platform to make an unapologetic case for freedom. The President failed the American people—and America’s allies—in five major ways.

   1. He failed to give a robust defense of free speech.

   2. He tiptoed around Iran.

   3. He failed to give Israel strong backing.

   4. He did not promote economic freedom.

   5. He failed to project American strength.

   I don’t have a problem with either network. The only one I truly dislike is Matthews. Rachel, Ed, Lawerence O. or even the gas bag of all gas bags Keith, more power to them. Liberals had no where to go before MSNBC put them on the air.

    Hey Doug, the difference is that MSNBC doesn’t go around saying that they are “Fair & Balanced” that way Fox News does. I mean seriously, everybody and their mother knows that Fox News is a Conservative News station that pushes the Right-Wing agenda. And guess what, there’s nothing wrong with that. Just don’t go around saying that you’re “Fair & Balanced” when you’re not.

    Fair point, but do you now see why conservatives get so annoyed when abc/CBS/NBC/etc. deny their bias? I see their denials as their way of saying they are “fair”. They may not have it in their slogan but that is what they think.

    People on both sides can be very sensitive about their opinion. I remember watching Hannity and Colmes a long time ago. I mentioned watching it to a friend, and his response was “Why do you watch, nobody ever changes their mind”. There are some pretty rigid opinions on both sides here (and everywhere else) so when you insult people who people agree with it is like you are insulting them. As I have mentioned a few times, neither side has a monopoly on the truth. I think most people can find good ideas on both sides of the aisle.

How is Romney going to kill Obama in the debates? Fox can win in the ratings as long as Obama wins the election. Now your next excuse is blaming the moderators in the debate? I would love to hear plans on how Romney is going to save the economy. You want plans and so do I. I haven’t heard any detailed plan from Romney on how he is going to save the economy. Cut taxes? Same old, same old.

Fox discussion shows lean conservative but they are in no way Totally Liberal as MSNBC. The Fox newscasts ARE “Fair and Balanced” but that’s from 9AM-5PM, and 6-8PM. “O’Reilly,” “Hannity,” Greta, they make no bones about their program leaning right, but at least they have credible Democrats on to debate the issue. Fox probably employs more Democrat contributors than MSNBC does.”

    That’s Ralph’s quote. You are so hilarious. Lean conservative? They work for the Republican Party. They are so far right and all they do is lie. They don’t ever use facts. Fair and balanced? You’re delusional. I admit that MBNBC is a complete liberal network unlike some delusional person. Who takes this Ralph guys seriously? At least MSNBC uses facts to back up their liberal views. If you want neutral news, you watch PBS, CBS, ABC, NBC or CNN.

    *Fed ‘Virtually Funding the Entire US Deficit’…

    The latest round of extraordinary Federal Reserve stimulus is risky and leaves little room to maneuver should another crisis hit, economist Lawrence Lindsey told CNBC’s “Squawk Box” on Wednesday.

    Lindsey said that with the Fed purchasing at least $40 billion a month in mortgage debt through QE3, “they are buying the entire deficit.” (Read more: Fed Pulls Trigger, to Buy Mortgages in Effort to Lower Rates.)

    “I have no problem doing extraordinary things in extraordinary times,” said Lindsey, a former White House economic advisor under former president George W. Bush who now runs his own consulting firm.
