The reviews for Brickleberry made it sound incredibly lame and stupid. I didn’t catch it. I wonder if it will hold up next week.
The Daily Show certainly capitalized on that lead-in though. Good day for it too, because the Daily Show featured one of the funniest bits they’ve done all year, with Patrick Stewart as a scab:

season premiere for sons was their biggest episode of all time. 5.4 million viewers. the likelihood of slipping after those numbers is very high. i don’t think it says anything about the quality of this season. in fact, from what i heard, sutter said episode 2 was still higher than episode 2 of last season at 4.1. last night was barely a drop from that. the real question is whether or not all of the people who are threatening not to watch anymore really will do that. personally, i’ll ride with sons until the end. the character who died was my personal favorite, but this show is loosely based on hamlet. in that case, all the favorites will die. viewers know what they signed up for when they picked up this show. sutter is a genius, plain and simple.
How can anyone be suprised by what happens on SOA?
It’s a show about criminals, bikers, gangs, drug runners, gun cartels, and all other shadiness. It’s been criticized in the past for not being truely violent. I mean how Clay is still alive is BS…
