You wouldn’t look to good if you had huge corporations like CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN attacking you day and night
===========================
Where were these despotic entities when Bush won reelection in 2004? Where were they when he won in 2000? By the way, I’m not buying into the Romney hype. I read the words that come out of Romney’s own mouth.
^Nothing done I meant
@
Mark, Matthew, what the heck Luke and John
Fast and Furious was buried by the corrupt vermin in the lib. media.
It would have been one heck of a big story if we had a Republican President.
“Pre 9/11 world Matthew. I waltzed through an airport security check to go retrieve a camera before 9/11. I would be taken down if I tryed the same thing after 9/11.”
____________________
So what? He had the information, it’s his failure, and the average voter still didn’t care by election day. Romney can’t credibly make the case that he would have prevented this attack, or reacted any differently. This is just the latest Blah Blah Blah from the circle jerkers here who cling desperately to the hope that somehow this will transform into a referendum election.
I can’t even count the number of times over the last year and half that Coffee has come here posting “watch Europe over the next few days, something big is coming!” or “this is the thing that’s really gonna turn the election!,” only to have these dire proclamations fizzle out. This isn’t Watergate, this isn’t your October surprise, and if Romney doesn’t get SUBSTANTIVE and do something to distinguish himself from the last 12 years of failed leadership, he’s going to lose. Stop kidding yourselves.

Maybe the Prez. should have thought twice about running around bragging
=============================
Hahaha. You mean bragging like this?
@Matthew
watch Europe over the next few days,
Really? I always said a crash is coming a a couple of days? Or that a bad stock market run was about to happen? I really said a collaspse was coming in just a metter of days?
k, if you say so.
“Fast and Furious was buried by the corrupt vermin in the lib. media.”

More conservative persecution complex. I don’t know a single informed person who isn’t aware of Fast and Furious amongst the politically interested. The only people who don’t know about it are low-information voters, the same types of people who can’t even name a single Supreme Court Justice. You can put information out there, but you can’t force an idiot to absorb it. Blah blah blah.
^metter of days
Matter not meter unless they have publish a new word or something

Gabe
They attacked Bush every day for eight years. People liked Bush even though he stumbled and bumbled.
The public liked Clinton but they thought he was a little soft and partially blamed him for 9/11. I disagreed with that assessment. Before 9/11 we all had our heads in the sand.
This helped Bush and people forget before the housing crash unemployment was around 5%. Annual budget deficits were 300 Bil.
“Really? I always said a crash is coming a a couple of days? Or that a bad stock market run was about to happen? I really said a collaspse was coming in just a metter of days?”
_______________
Yes, several times you have implied this. SEVERAL TIMES. It’s times like this that I wish Boris was still posting to back this up. “Watch Spain over the next few days guys” or “watch Italy” or “watch your 401k.” No offense, but you’re a bit of a sensationalist, hinting at deep knowledge from Hidden Sources, only for Not Much to occur.
@Matthew
I don’t know a single informed person who isn’t aware of Fast and Furious amongst the politically interested.
See one Bob Schieffer when asked why he did not ask Eric Holder during an interview with Holder about F&F Schieffer, replied : “I didn’t know anything about it”
I suppose that could have been because at the time the NYT hadn’t published anything on it.

Matthew
You sound angry. Obama is leading, chill out. He may get elected but he is still a failure.
He needs to kill Bin Laden again. Sadly it is his only success.
@Matthew
SEVERAL TIMES
I never said unless something prevents it like a bailout from germany? I do recall several times I stated that if a certain conditions did not happen and Example: Like IF grecce wasn’t granted money or IF Germany said no that a crash was very possible Matthew.
If I ever said it was 100% going to happen within a day or two even not knowing if something was going to be passed that could prevent it, I rekon I’m sorry.
@
Matthew
Afghanistan: Failure
Deficit: Failure
Jobs: Failure
Arab Spring: Failure
“You sound angry. Obama is leading, chill out. He may get elected but he is still a failure.”
__________________________
I am angry, and I’ve said absolutely nothing to imply that I think Obama is anything other than failure. I’m just annoyed with the whole posting schtick on this site, and how delusional the regular posters are. This isn’t political discourse, it’s Pro Wrestling with crudely inserted talking points and platitudes. Posters here profess certain ideals, then immediately violate them to cheerlead on behalf of a candidate that does not represent their values, will not achieve the things they hope for, but he’s good enough because he’s on their Political Team. There’s no integrity here.
@S. Papa
Matthews cool Papa. I don’t mind him questioning things I say
Granddaughter just arrived BBL..
Peace

Matthew
Coffee would have already been right if we didn’t have QE 1 2 and 3. Matthew they are propping up the Market with monoploy money. Oh yeah.
QE 1,2, AND 3: Failure
“If I ever said it was 100% going to happen within a day or two even not knowing if something was going to be passed that could prevent it, I rekon I’m sorry.”
__________________________________
No, you’ve never said something 100% will happen. I’m just saying that, in general, the posters here have this tendency to selectively share and believe the information (and potential outcomes) that best fit their personal views. Confirmation bias. For example, if you’re inclined to think that Europe is more likely to collapse than not collapse, then you might be more inclined to believe and repeat information that confirms that belief, and give less credence to information that is contrary. You might, in general, be inclined toward worst-case-scenario thinking because, on some level, you know this will be damaging to the current president.
Now let me be clear – I’m not saying you’re ROOTING for these things, or would be pleased that they occur – I’m saying that you’re predisposed to favor a negative outlook, because it fits with your own negative outlook, especially in regards to the president.
That whole fast and furious uproar was a joke, as is this Libya thing. you Republicans will reach for anything that you can get your hands on and magnify it to a point where you consider it worse than Watergate.
