Enjoying CBS This Morning and the’Your World in 90 Seconds’feature at the beginning of the show each morning…this is a much more intellectual program than it’s competitors…ABC & NBC deliver fluff for those who aren’t really invested in wanting to know the ‘hows and whys’. CBS informs and makes you think. Today and GMA have basically become a waste of time when it comes to news…however, if you want to know about Lady GaGa or ‘What’s Tending Now’, they’ve got you covered.
( I do, however, acknowledge the terrific work of Ann Curry and Richard Engle…too bad they’re not at CBS)

I so agree. I was getting tired of the Today show before Ann Curry was fired. That was the straw that broke the camels back. They have way too much nonsense and fluff: makeup, clothes, sales, foolish behaviour, cooking segments, “I have a new movie/book . . .”, and too many segments are cut way too short to be of any value because the show is over booked. Then there’s the 4 hour (which I couldn’t stand) with the 2 drunks. I have switched to CBS for a more serious news program.

Finally. CBS This Morning serves up an intelligent cup of news every weekday morning.

Switched to CBS this morning a few months ago and loving it. Do not miss Today at all.

Used to be a regular watcher of CBS news in the morning until it went to the new format “CBS This Morning”. I can understand why ratings for female viewers 25-54 increased 13% since its like watching Oprah Winfrey. It has become a show tailored for women whom are Oprah fans.

I totally disagree with viewers whom see this new format as intellectual with more serious news content.

I watch the NBC today show Monday through Friday And CBS this Morning Saturday when Gayle King(Oprah in Training) and Charlie Rose are not on. Charlie Rose always looks so tired which makes me tired just watching him.

After my October 14th comment about CBS This Morning on this page I decided to watch CBS This Morning one more time. Once again I felt like I was watching an Oprah Winfrey news show tailored for women. CBS This Morning clearly has Oprahs fingerprints all over it, epecially when a great professional jouralist like Erica Hill was basically fired while Gayle King with far less jounalism experince and talent was kept on. Definately not a news show for men anymore.

Looking forward to seeing Erica Hill on the Today

Note* none of the morning news shows including Fox news are really cut and dry serious news shows like the, evening news shows on CBS, NBC, ABC, as some would imply here.

Bye Bye for good to Oprah’s CBS News This Morning, The Today show is my source for my morning news.
