   Seems Boo Boo, South Park and The Challenge divide up the teen audience.

   Actually surprised that The Challenge held its audience from last week.

   South Park will build.

   I think they have one more season after this and maybe one more movie and then call it a series.

   South Park has already been renewed for an additional four seasons (through the 20th season in 2016).

   White trash doesn’t deserve to beat world-class satire. Hopefully Honey Boo Boo gets taken by child services soon, effectively ending the show and letting South Park be king again.

   South Park will keep going for as long as the creators are happy to keep making it.

   Its production values are ridiculously cheap and Comedy Central isn’t exactly short of timeslots.

   Appreciate the thought, but all I can really do, is echo Doctor Cox from Scrubs with this one comment in response. ‘Wrong Wrong Wrong Wrong, Wrong Wrong Wrong Wrong’ Wroooooooooong.

   Not trying to upset you there but that is utterly false.

   Sure demos will go up in their relevant group, be it child, teen, 18-34, 18-49, 25-54 etc but if you’re implying that the 18-49 goes up the more viewers that are watching that is, of course wrong. Different age groups etc are tracked by Nielsen.

   Some programs can have 4-5 million viewers and get say a 2.4 18-49 whilst others like Harry’s Law can have 9 million and a 0.9 18-49. See what I mean there?

    But listing 18-49 for certain channels means nothing. Disney, Nick, MTV, Cartoon Network, and perhaps even Adult Swim care nothing about 18-49.

    I feel sorry for Honey Boo Boo. She’s being exploited now, but you can bet the money being made now won’t be managed properly so she can do something with it later like get an education. 15 years from now, she’ll be living in a trailer, single with three kids and broke. I’ll bet no one is talking about Honey Boo Boo then.
