Friday is generally a quiet night on television, unless you are a genre fan (Grimm & Fringe have carved out a nice niche on Fridays) but now the legal drama genre is looking to get in on the action. Made in Jersey has received some seriously negative reviews thus far, but as we've seen with The Neighbors premiere, negative buzz does not always equal bad ratings. So what do you think? Can a legal drama survive on a Friday? Cast your vote and let us know why in the comments!

I think its the brainless fun show (didn’t watch it, just suppose) so I’ll go with 1.9 or so.

  • erwan from france

I saw the tailer , and in France , that’s is the typical kind of show that we love, i hope for a 1.8/2.0 and a 8/9 millions viewers .

  • KevinY

I watched it and I didn’t love it, but it is very solid. It does remind me a lot of Fairly Legal (which is one of my favorite shows). Should get even better when the gorgeous Megalyn Echikunwoke (hot black chick from House of Lies) joins the cast in week two, or maybe week 3.

  • Kane

this show what freaking boring as hell. i thought the new Sherlock Holme’s show was better than it. cancel this crap.

  • Vincent

Or you can simply try to understand that what is crap for you is a masterpiece for others, so stop bitching like most people around here who bash shows just for the sake of it. You didn’t like it, that’s fair, but why should they cancel it? Learn how to grow up in a better way, if you don’t like something then simply skip it and stick to what you love instead of hating.

I enjoyed it, but this is a show that CBS needs to turn into a more of a relationship drama rather than a straight by the numbers procedural. Dana Calvo cut her teeth on Greek, and I would love for her to bring some younger lawyers played by Spencer Grammar, Scott Michael Foster, and Aaron Hill to show and give it more of a USA vibe, a la Suits.

  • Liam

Im gonna say around a 1.5 and around 7-8 mllion viewers. CBS usually does well in total viewers on Fridays.

  • Tom

@ Vincent Thank for policing the comments for us. I appreciate your strong moral presence setting boundaries for us. The problem is that Kane nailed this one. MIJ doesn’t even make a pretense of accurately reflecting the practice of criminal law. The very first courtroom scene literally fractured due process as we know it. In true USA Network style, the storyline is nothing more than a pretense for presenting a bad soap opera. The sooner MIJ is cancelled the better.

I watched it…..I liked it, it wasn’t half bad.

    1.1 to 1.4

  • Matt

Looks extremely cliche and a typical CBS procedural since that is all CBS’s dramas are about; either legal stuff or cops.

    Im guessing 1.7 and 10M

  • SJ

1.5 for Made in Jersey. 1.3 for CSI NY and 1.7 for Blue Bloods.

  • omabin

Spoilertv is reporting a 0.8 demo in the top25 markets…. If that holds, I don’t think it even airs a second episode. Unforgettable for the rescue

  • CrimTV

    Fringe earned a 1.1 18-49 rating and 3.176 million viewers via @MaskedScheduler

  • Victor Hugo

  • senor chang

    any numbers for Grimm?

  • blue

The American public is too smart for this show. It will be canceled sooner than later. I hear lawyers laughing all over the country.

  • mike

they should made in jersey at 8 csi ny at 9 but i think it was great csi a welcome back and blueblood round off a ggreat cbs night

  • Mark Wilkins

and the winner is 1.1, which is a lot lower then a Gifted Man’s premiere so its DOA. And Grimm was #1 for Friday, but CBS won the night.

  • Debbie

No one will watch Made in Jersey. No one knows who this actress is.She is
pretty that’s why she got the show. Les Mooves the head of CBS cancelled
Unforgetable to put garbage like this on.
