Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Well done ABC surprising to see the Simpsons beat Family Guy in viewers and by 4 tenths in 18-49!? Simpsons could too the hour a couple of time from points with once upon a time. Also, Revene ratings good only down a tenth from last year- looks tough to beat hour against family guy?

  • MoHasanie

Excellent ratings for OUAT. A 3.8 is just 2 tenths below its series premiere.
Revenge is also did quite well, getting its second highest ratings ever. :) However, I’m surprised it fell 3 tenths in its second half hour. Revenge is surprisingly doing exactly the same as Desperate Housewives did last year for its premiere (unless its adjusted up), but just slightly lower in total viewers. Great episode! The whole time I thought Victoria was dead even though I knew they wouldn’t kill her off.
666 Park Avenue however, did disappointingly. I thought it had great potential, but it was just kind of boring. Half way through I was thinking about leaving. I’ll give another try next week, but if it doesn’t pick up, then I won’t watch after that. So, overall, I think ABC will have mixed feelings about how their shows performed. With the huge amount of promotion they did for their Sunday line up, OUAT delivered great ratings, Revenge grew a lot from its finale, but 666 Park Avenue didn’t badly for a premiere. Nevertheless, if its not adjusted down, then it should be this weeks top 10pm show for ABC.
Overall, I have mixed feelings for ABC Sundays. Although I love Revenge, I just feel its more of a 10pm show. Also, everything on ABC feels so dark and 666 is kind of creepy. Desperate Housewives had a lot of drama, but was still quite funny, and fun to watch. I miss Wsiteria Lane! :(
Its going to be difficult for Revenge to maintain good ratings in such a competitive slot, especially in February. I just hope it can survive here.

Family Guy was funny last night, although I thought it would get high 3’s. Haven’t watched The Simpsons and TAR yet.

I expected low 2’s for TGW. The Mentalist only had a 2.1 which is bad. CSI was doing similarly last year.

  • Mitchell

TGW could possibly stay on after this season, CBS doesn’t really have anything it can put on Sunday + TGW is its only show that generates positive critics buzz…

  • Mrs. Angela Lansbury

It appears Good Wife was down from its season premiere from last season, but slightly up from its season finale. CBS might be happy with ~2.0’s on Sunday. They were getting that on average last year and renewed TGW with those numbers.

Bob’s Burgers did better than American Dad, that’s awesome. I’m glad people are starting to come around to this show. Fox is gonna need something when Simpsons and Family Guy are gone.

  • Angie

The mentalist so far 2.1 10mil is better than i thought. Hope it gets adjust up. Hopefully 666 will go lower next week

  • Ram510

Yes! Great numbers for Once Upon A Tine! That could possibly adjust up to a 4.0

Surprised that Revenge Topped its season 1 premiere and surprised 666 didn’t do better than Last Resort. Looks like Sundays @10 is ABC new cursed night (insert 666 joke here lol)

  • John_M

TGW is its only show that generates positive critics buzz…

Shame that ‘positive critics buzz’ doesn’t equal advertising dollars.

revenge was down to low 2.0s in the spring and once upon a time was down to low 3.0s. so for revenge to get only 0.1 less than its constantly-promoted series premiere, which had a 6.0+ modern family lead-in, and 0.8 above its finale, while airing on a new day and time is awesome.

and similarly, great recovery for OUAT also. hope the 2 shows rock it this year.

but man, 666 is SHOCKINGLY low. can’t believe it. it had good and a lot of promotion, the lead-in, the stars, all of which were on successful ABC shows, and still gets just a 2.2? and considering the mixed reception to the pilot, this might be ABC’s first show clearly headed to the cancellation pile. at least last resort got a 2.2 with-out a lead-in and in a death slot.

  • Just

Max is pissed because Revenge just CRUSHED that Shonda Rimes stupid drama that no one cares about

  • CrimTV

    @John A

How did Revenge not retain a lot of OUAT’s numbers, it only fell 0.6! Both the shows are almost uncomparable!

  • SJ

Good for Once, AMAZING for Revenge! I knew it would go back over a 3 once it moved to the 9pm slot!

ABC, on the other hand, has a huge 10pm problem on their hands. Out of the four dramas that aired there this week, Castle is the only one that I see still being on the air in January. They better hope that Nashville hits and Body of Proof returns at least decent. Something tells me that Primetime WWYD won’t be warming the bench for a very long time…

  • jim

Very good numbers for Revenge!! Better than last year’s season average by quite some margin. Shame about 666 – hope it picks up in coming weeks, or at least is able to stay about a 2.0. However it did win the hour in the demo!

The Good Wife is one of my favourite shows, hope CBS continues to support this fantastic program despite its disappointing ratings among 18-49s.

  • Sean

Non-NBC shows should also worry because in a few weeks NBC SNF will be time-shifting marquee football matches which usually end up spiking its ratings a few tenths. (Probably a lot more NYG games, Dallas games, etc.) Those are good starts though for OUAT and Revenge, not so much for 666. Let’s hope ABC has finally learned its spring scheduling lessons and won’t yank them for weeks at a time and then put new episodes on against the Golden Globes or a football conference championship.

REVENGE and SCANDAL on the same night would be epic!!!!

  • Paulo PT

Ok, no surprise on Revenge, OUAT a litle lower but my real prediction was a 3.8, but i was hoping for a record. 666 a flop no surprise here.

TGW and The Mentalist also no surprise. However, ABC will go down (10-20%) and CBS could improve a litle (10%).

  • joanna

Go Once Upon a Time!!! The premiere was the second best episode of the show after the Beauty and the Beast episode of season 1.

  • Ron

You guys are crazy if you think Revenge did badly. It had its 2nd highest episode ever and only lost a tenth of a point from last year’s series premiere which was follwing a huge 6.0 from MF. Its average over last season was mid 2’s

  • UMGuy423

The title of 666 turned my wife off, so we didn’t watch it. She doesn’t like ‘scary’ stuff that late at night. Maybe if they titled it “The Drake” it would’ve premiered better. If it doesn’t rebound, I definitely won’t bother watching it.
