GMC TV CONTINUES TO BREAK NEW RATINGS GROUND

WITH GMC WORLD PREMIERE MOVIES

AND GMC WORLD PREMIERE PLAYS

One of Fastest Growing Networks in Cable

ATLANTA—October 2, 2012 – GMC TV, America’s favorite channel for uplifting family entertainment, announced today that the third quarter was the network’s strongest quarter ever among the key demographic of W25-54. The period also marked GMC TV’s 17th consecutive quarter of year-over-year growth (source 1).

For the quarter, GMC TV ranked 50th among all ad-supported cable networks in the W25-54 demo (source 2). For the year, GMC TV is the third fastest-growing network in the demo among all ad-supported networks (source 3).

Leading the way for GMC TV in the third quarter were GMC World Premiere Movies and GMC World Premiere Plays:

  • Ø In July, “Raising Izzie” generated GMC TV’s highest rated premiere window yet, ranking first in its time period among African-American W18-49 (source 4a).
  • Ø In August, “Somebody’s Child” was GMC TV’s 3rd highest rated premiere window ever, ranking 2nd in its time period among African-American W25-54 (source 4b).
  • Ø In September, “To Love and To Cherish” became GMC TV’s strongest GMC World Premiere Play premiere, ranking 5th in its time period among African-American W18-49 and African-American W25-54 (source 4c).
