Wow, both Once and Revenge are down only 0.1 from their SERIES premieres last year. Amazing! I’m so happy for both!
666 Park Avenue deserves its rating IMO. Rachael Taylor isn’t a good lead and for a soap/horror show, it didn’t hit the soapy, nor the scary notes. Pass!
OUAt fantastic 0.1 from the series premiere
666Park will end as GCB..1.6-2.0 or less
Great numbers for OUAT. I remember people thinking it would be the first show cancelled last year.
Amazing for the Simpsons. Impressive numbers for any show, amazing for one in season 24.
666 Park Avenue is dead. A shame really, I thought it was relatively intriguing. Football + Homeland probably didn’t help it, but cant really get a better slot on ABC, it had a pretty good lead in.
And I’m sort of glad Family Guy numbers were relatively low. It’s turned to crap the last few years. Hopefully they can pick up the quality.
Once 666 is canceled ABC should move SCANDAL to Sunday’s at 10:00pm, Private Practice back to Thursday’s and move Last Resort to Tuesday’s at 9:00p after Dancing With the Stars, that way it would push the big comedy clash out.
Fringe barely got renewed with just a little bit less than Park Avenue’s numbers.
Both REVENGE and Once got an all-time high excluding series premiere — and only -0.1 from that.
Great, but Revenge deserves even better ratings.
Wow, that is very impressive for OUAT. ABC was very lucky with OUAT last year, otherwise their Sunday line up would be doing very badly right now with out it.
666 Park Avenue tied Castle for ABC’s no.1 10pm show last week, so ABC must be disappointed with that considering the promotion and the bad retention.
Surprised Family Guy wasn’t adjusted up. Great for the Simpsons, and yesterdays episode was awesome!
OUAT is a monster!
Glad for The Simpsons , Revenge, and Once Upon a Time . That’s bad for 666 par avenue and Mentalist, I love it !
I’m not sure how many here are saying 666 Park Ave. was good. I thought it was fairly dreadful. I actually kinda liked the “soapy” elements to it, but the supernatural/horror elements were just awful. Felt like it was trying to be somewhat like American Horror Story, but is not even close to being in the same league. I made it through the whole pilot, but don’t think I will be returining. Glad for Once and Revenge though. Slightly worried about Race’s drop year to year, but CBS is down as a whole, so hopefully its still safe.
Yay for Once!
Soooooo happy for Once and REVENGE! And truth be told. Revenge even deserves higher numbers than it’s already getting.
If 666 Park Avenue can maintain its current ratings (and that’s a big if), it might have a chance to survive.
I don’t think any new show will work behind Revenge.
People just won’t stick around for another show after a thriller — much like Lost and The Vampire Diaries.
The only thing that could work there is a show with an established fan base. The only one I could think of right now is Castle.
@ Cory
TAR is safe–highest rated on the CBS Sun Sked.
Another YAY for OUAT & The Simpsons–24 & still kickin! OUAT is such a beast & hope it maintains for years to come.
TGW ties H50 & beats MIJ (no big feat there)–ROCK ON!
Fringe barely got renewed with just a little bit less than Park Avenue’s numbers.
Apples, Oranges
People just won’t stick around for another show after a thriller — much like Lost and The Vampire Diaries.
Apocryphal nonsense
BTW – not that it matters to anyone but me probably, but the ‘start time’ for the Sunday Night football game is 8:20, not 8:30, just saying.
Once is a beast for ABC, and really glad Revenge is doing great. Feel bad for 666, but I’d love to see what Last Resort would pull in the same slot.
Wow. OUAT 3.9 VS 4.0 (last year)?
Such a GREAT result!
@psychic
What’s your point? As John_M mentioned, it’s an Apples/Oranges comparison. Fringe is on a different network, and is in a very different situation. WB almost certainly worked out a deal so there would be 13 more episodes for the syndication package (as they did for Chuck last year). 666 has aired 1 episode.
Barring an unusual turnaround, the numbers will dip to the mid 1′s over the next few weeks, maybe lower. I doubt it survives this season. The pilot was intriguing to me, and I enjoy seeing Terry O’Quinn act.
So officially 666 was beaten out by Last Resort. Guess which show is going to get eaten by the bear next ? I’d love to see LR moved to Sun after Revenge but that’s probably wishful thinking. I know that show can bolster that timeperiod for ABC.
