Updated: Which New Fall Broadcast TV Show Will Get The NEXT Full Season Order? (Poll)

Update October 8 : The Mindy Project ranked third among those polled, far behind a couple of CBS shows, and Ben & Kate was even further behind, nonetheless...

With today's news that NBC has ordered full seasons of rookie's Revolution, Go On and The New Normal, our "who'll be the first to a full season" poll has come to an end (with very good results I might add), and it's time for another!

Which new Fall broadcast TV show will get the NEXT order for a full season?

For the uninitiated, rookie shows are usually given an order for 13 episodes as an initial commitment, and after a certain level of early success, are typically given an order for an additional 9 episodes to complete a "full" season of 22 episodes (although slight variations from the magic 22 are not uncommon).

These orders typically happen anytime from the start of the broadcast season until about Thanksgiving, but could conceivably go even later than that, for shows that don't premiere next week. The busiest period for these announcements is typically mid to late October.

What's your NEXT guess for this season?

While this poll allows just one answer per person, feel free to expand your choices in the comments.

    I guess Elementary.

I voted Nashville even though I knew a whole lot of people would say Elementary. That one won’t surprise me at all.

  • Dan S

I voted with the majority & said Elementary. The show I’d love to see get a full season pickup is Last Resort but obviously it needs a few more airings & hopefully it can build on its premiere & go up. Ironic to see shows like Mob Dr, Partners & MIJ on this list when their likely to get pulled anytime.

  • AniMatsuri

Some of these shows haven’t even premiered yet. Isn’t it a little to early to even start guessing if they’ll get full pickups?

  • capslocke

I would say Elementary, assuming it doesn’t free fall this Thursday. CBS needs some sort of freshman hit.

Mindy is probably too soon, but FOX has nothing in the wings and no freshman hits, so maybe.

  • DenverDean

CBS is so conservative for renewals. I bet Vegas and Elementary don’t get picked up until end of month. At least we can eliminate AP, MIJ, Partners, TMD, 666 right off the bat.

  • Jo

    The Neighbors, gone,gone,gone.

  • Samunto

CBS takes forever to renew their shows. The back 9 order for Elementary wont arrive till like mid or late November. I say Guys with Kids LOL. Ok am really clueless on this one.

Your milking these polls a bit too much.

  • iggy

I’d guess FOX wants to have a renewal to announce around the time they pull Mob Doc.

I’d say its too early to guess them today, but definitely not too early to put them in the poll since this poll will run until the next pick up.

It wouldn’t shock me if most of these shows are on the air before the next pick up.

  • KJ Styles

I’ll say Elementary since it’s the highest rated of these shows. I believe Vegas will get a back nine as well, though.

We’re like a dairy barn, for TV ratings polls!

i went with Vegas before elementary due to quality over the first episode of each show. and that cbs owns Vegas.

  • Dan

Elementary and Vegas will likely be picked up together though I wouldnt be surprised if CBS just picked up Elementary but with Partners and Made In Jersey as good as cancelled CBS may pick up the former two together

  • Remote Patrolled

I want to know who voted Made In Jersey, Mob Doctor and Partners!

If they’re serious they must be banished from the site forever :)

  • varnelius

The Mob Doctor all the way! LOL.

  • Probably The Neighbors if it keeps up. Maybe The Mindy Project since Fox is pretty quick at renewals.
