   The corrupt so-called objective media did their Messiah no favor by never asking him a hard question. You have to love the irony in that.

    In private, many EU diplomats have no qualms about saying they want Obama re-elected; it is no secret that many European countries, whether led by centre-left or centre-right governments, are more broadly aligned with the Democrats when it comes to social and tax policy, the environment and a range of foreign-affairs issues.

    Been on a walk about. Wife had me in TN, AR, MS, KS, AL, and all the roads in between. Her work laptop died on the trip and had to use her personnel one which is the one I use too since my laptop keeps over heating and freezing up. So I had a choice, when she was done I could use it or we could get out on the bikes and do some riding. I went with the riding.

    Top Obama aide says performing in debates is ‘not the President’s strong suit’ and asks for media’s help against Mitt Romney

    David Axelrod, President Barack Obama’s top strategist, has said that the campaign will take a ‘hard look’ at how to approach future debates and admitted that ‘I’m sure that we will make adjustments’.

    All but stating that Mitt Romney had won the Denver debate, Axelrod conceded that the performance aspect was ‘not the President’s strong suit in these events’ but insisted that ‘I don’t see us adding huge amounts of additional prep time’.

    Axelrod, speaking on a campaign conference call, made an appeal to reporters to make the points that Obama himself had failed to make in the debate

    ‘All of you who travel on the road with Governor Romney know that he just few weeks ago stood up and said we didn’t need any more teachers,’ he said. ‘Last night he couldn’t be more enthusiastic about teachers and more teachers.’

    Romney had delivered ‘a very vigorous performance but one that was devoid of honesty’, Axelrod said.

    ‘And so today, as the day after, I think the question for you [the media], for the American people is really one of character and whether or not a candidacy that’s so fundamentally rooted in hiding the truth and the facts from the American people and deception is the basis of trust on which you assign the presidency to a person.

    That didn’t take long. Exactly 12 hours after the first presidential debate ended, the Republican National Committee has released a new web video that zooms in on what pundits are calling his “smirk” at many of challenger Mitt Romney’s lines Wednesday night.

    From the RNC: “Good morning, we’re out with a new video ‘Smirk’ highlighting the president’s debate performance where he was visibly uncomfortable as he struggled to give Americans answers on how he’ll turn our country around with another four years. As Morning Joe said this morning – it appeared as if Obama thought debating was beneath him.”
