@Coffee Steve
“Top Obama aide says performing in debates is ‘not the President’s strong suit’ and asks for media’s help against Mitt Romney”
May be if he had done more press open questioning in the last 4 years where he would take more than 4 questions and not answer the question in 15 minutes or more to run the timeout he would have been ready for Romney.
The corrupt so-called objective media is in full battle mode. They will attack Romney wildly over the next few days.
Don’t look for many polls. The lib. media needs to rehab Obama before more surveys will be allowed to come out.
Romney and the rest of us better be on guard. The corrupt lib. media are not going to let their Messiah fall apart without a fight.
And NOW for the IMPORTANT analysis!!!!!!!
Check out what Hollywood stars are saying:
Piers Morgan: Maybe time to come on my show, Mr President? Romney’s done it three times, clearly sharpened his debating skills.
Alec Baldwin: CBS analysis says Romney stomped Obama with undecided voters
Julia Louis-Dreyfus: What r u doing, Jim Lehrer? What r u doing?!
David Spade: Crap i just turned on debates. Which guy is prez and which guy is Romney. Everything will make more sense. #debates
Eva Longoria: I’m in New Zealand watching the presidential debate! Obama is killing it on health care! #Obama2012
Rob Lowe: Watched a lot of debates, that was a real blood-letting. #POTUSwiffs#Mittenssticks
Ivanka Trump: #Romney really rose to the occasion tonight! #BigNight #Debate2012 #debate #CantAfford4More
Conan O’Brien: Just noticed that Jim Lehrer has no whites in his eyes. #Discuss
Andy Cohen: I sympathize with Jim Lehrer – sometimes its hard getting control over passionate people! #RH
Abby Elliott: When are they going to talk about how they both want to see Pitch Perfect?
Bill Maher: i can’t believe i’m saying this, but Obama looks like he DOES need a teleprompter
Joy Behar: Obama blew it. I hate to say it but Romney was lying and Obama didn’t hit him on it.
Zach Braff: Romney’s doing an awesome job moderating while Jim takes a light nap.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck: Both are good men. #Debate2012 but we need a great president. #It’s not about liking Obama – It’s about needing Romney
Chris Rock: Obama is waiting for the right moment to pull out Bin Laden’s skull from behind the podium. Wait for it. Wait for it…
Albert Brooks: Next debate will be moderated by Miss Piggy before she loses her job.
Patton Oswalt: “A room temperature bowl of oatmeal” — Obama’s closing statement #debate
Kirstie Alley: not usually this politically general… but debate was lack luster at best… Bill Clinton.. show em how it’s done!!!
Samuel L. Jackson: What Really happened tonite?! NOBODY changed who they’re voting for!! NOBODY!!!
Bob Saget: I’m really enjoying these debates. I can’t wait til they have the swimsuit competition.
Sherri Shepherd: Mitt’s got this #debate tonight… did he change my mind at all…. not a bit.
will.i.am.: Its not over…#go out and vote…vote for our future…education, balance, invest
Mark Ronson: i guess both candidates did sufficiently average enough for their respective supporters to think they trounced the other
Hey Papa Pizza!
Romney and the rest of us better be on guard. The corrupt lib. media are not going to let their Messiah fall apart without a fight.
You are right but if the media does a Humpty Dumpty on Obama and tries to put all the pieces back together again and Romney stomps him again in the next debate it will be even WORSE for Obama!
If I was the Obama campaign, I would make sure Biden gets REAL sick and cant make the debate next week just to be on the safe side.
Debate Ratings: Fox News Tops Cable News For First Debate, As More People Tune In Than 2008
More than 58 million people watched the first Presidential debate last night between President Obama and Mitt Romney, up substantially from the first debate in the 2008 election cycle, which had 52.4 million viewers.
You all know I’m not a big AARP fan. My husband was a district manager for an large insurance company , &, I learned AARP’s primary goal is to make money in the Medicare secondary insurance field.
Fox News, MSNBC, NBC, Fox and CBS are all up from the same debate in 2008, while CNN and ABC are down. In the adults 25-54 demo, FNC and MSNBC are up compared to 2008, while CNN is down.
From 9-10:30 PM
Cable:
FNC: 10,421,380 total viewers, 2,932,907 adults 25-54

AARP objects to Obama invoking group’s support during debate
“While we respect the rights of each campaign to make its case to voters, AARP has never consented to the use of its name by any candidate or political campaign. AARP is a nonpartisan organization and we do not endorse political candidates nor coordinate with any candidate or political party.
US investigators finally at Embassy attack site in Libya
Finally .
One month before the Sept. 11 attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, the Congressional Research Service issued a report detailing dangerous security conditions that existed in Libya.
Moreover, weapons taken from Libyan military depots constituted a major threat, according to CRS.
Eli Lake at the Daily Beast reports that whistleblowers allege that State cut the protection around its missions, including in Benghazi, where a terrorist attack killed four Americans, including the US Ambassador, J. Christopher Stevens:
Why ?
Sorry, I kinda messed up my AARP lines
Now I get this email from Paul Bigala
Anyone havein lunch with this guy?? If so tell him to lose my name too
Last night, Mitt made his choice — he got up on stage last night, shook the President’s hand, and then deliberately misled the American people.
Now, I’m asking you to make a choice.
The DCCC needs to raise $100,000 before midnight to respond to the Republicans’ dishonest attacks and get the facts out to voters. They could really use your help.
Donate $3 or whatever you can right now to the DCCC Rapid Response Fund
Romney’s debate performance was a calculated and deliberate reversal of his most extreme beliefs for a quick political gain. Make no mistake, if Mitt Romney and a Republican Congress are elected, they’ll cut taxes for millionaires and billionaires while waging an assault on the middle class.
There’s one month left. It’s time to stand up and fight back: Donate $3 or whatever you can today.
Paul
So did Reid learn to lie from Obama or Obama from Reid??
Reid misquotes Romney to make immigration attack
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has become the chief attack dog against his co-religionist Mitt Romney, but on Wednesday that attack went even further when his official Senate office released a statement that attributed a quote to Mr. Romney, even though he said the exact opposite.
Mr. Reid’s release quoted the Republican presidential nominee’s staff as telling the Boston Globe that Mr. Romney would “not honor deportation exemptions” that President Obama has granted under his new non-deportation policy.
But that phrase doesn’t appear in the Globe’s article. In fact, the newspaper said Mr. Romney’s staff specifically “said he would honor deportation exemptions issued by the Obama administration before his inauguration,” though the staffers said a Romney administration wouldn’t issue any new exemptions itself.
Mr. Reid’s office didn’t respond to multiple requests for clarification Wednesday night and Thursday morning, but the version of the release posted online deleted the quote marks around the inaccurate phrase — though it still contains the phrase itself.
I bet Candy Crowley is already getting instructions from Obama campaign not to let Romney talk at next debate.
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM maybe they read this site…….
Press Kept at Distance at Biden Event
Seems like the press are being kept far away from Joe Biden–and Iowans–at the vice president’s rally today. Jennifer Jacobs of the Des Moines Register reports on Twitter:
Reporters sectioned off in back corner at Biden venue; Obama aides refusing to allow them to speak to audience without escort from campaign
Still trying to figure out why press can’t even go to bathroom here at Biden event in IA without an Obama campaign volunteer as an escort.
Audience free to move around, go to bathroom w/out campaign escort at Biden event in Council Bluffs, just the press need one. Still a puzzle
UPDATE: It doesn’t appear that Biden attracted a large crowd:
About 300 in Council Bluffs, IA for VP Joe Biden’s campaign rally today.
UPDATE II: The campaign now seems to be loosening restrictions:
After wave of tweets on the topic, Obama campaign aide says they’ve changed policy: Reporters can now go to restroom w/out campaign escort.
NOW the poll results will count.
Hey Dare Ralphie Boy!!!!!
polls may mean something but only if they are not fudged. It would really help Obama if there wasnt much movement or no movement because then they can say “see the people still love us”
the biggest thing that comes from this IMO is the Obama camp is in panic mode to make this go away and turn around. In panic mode it is a heck of a lot easier to make a mistake or screw up bad (hence keeping Biden away from everyone).
If the romney camp can show that Obama is just whining and spinning because he lost the debate they score another win but if Obama can come up with real difinitive proof that Romney was just acting (and they cant) they could turn it around and gain huge numbers. IMO
Fox news will have HUGE results when the nunvers are released here, Thanks d.d. for the post.
@USN
You are correct sir, and earlier some of us were talking about that too.
@Ratboy
Harry Reid has become a pure bred Liar, and I “Never” use that word unless it totally fits. He just completly has made up imaginary things lately, yet no one calls him on it. He is the Seneate Majority Leader and should know better.
Yes, they all blowup statements and stuff, but to totally just manufacture things is un-becoming of a Party head.
Maybe it was the Denver air, I don’t know
Al Gore blames Obama’s bad performance on Denver’s high altitude.
Coffee Dude
Maybe it was the Denver air, I don’t know
Could it be HIS magic underware?????
@Ratboy & Ralph
Wait till Monday polls are released, it will take that long for all the debate bumps or lack of, to make the graph. Many won’t even watch it until they have time to view it on-line and read about it.
Looks like the right and left CAN agree!

Newsbusters – What Romney Did to Obama, Giuliani Does to MSNBC’s Chris Hayes
The President quoted the Cleveland Clinic last night .
Did he know the C.C. is owned by the doctors?
Section 6001 of the health care law effectively bans new physician-owned hospitals (POHs) from starting up, and it keeps existing ones from expanding. It has already halted the development of 24 new physician-owned hospitals and forced an additional 47 to struggle to meet the deadline to complete construction, according to the Physician Hospitals of America (PHA).
As Politico reports, “Physician Hospitals of America says that construction had to stop at 45 hospitals nationwide or they would not be able to bill Medicare for treatments.”
Plus,
From the Mayo Clinic :
More than 3,000 patients eligible for Medicare, the government’s largest health-insurance program, will be forced to pay cash if they want to continue seeing their doctors at a Mayo family clinic in Glendale, northwest of Phoenix.
Mayo’s move to drop Medicare patients may be copied by family doctors, some of whom have stopped accepting new patients from the program, said Lori Heim, president of the American Academy of Family Physicians
When I didn’t see an article on Mediaite raving about Maddow beating some afternoon show I figured it was bad. Hannity killed her.

Here is the interesting part, I have talked to quite a few people today that did not watch the debate because they dont WANT to watch the debate BUT…………………..with all the buzz, NOW they are going to watch the debate!
