I disagree.
If there was some “secret Obama,” just waiting to be exposed to the world, the Clinton or McCain campaigns would have already done so in 2008, especially the Clinton campaign. All the s**t in Obama’s history that conservatives whine about here on a daily basis was public knowledge in 2008; Reverend Wright, Obama’s own writings, his past associations, all that stuff was in the news cycles during the primaries. It’s not that it didn’t get coverage, it’s that a majority of the electorate doesn’t care. Get over it.

Did I mention President Obama refused to waive the Stafford Act after the tornado in Joplin, MO.
I read the Stafford Act. Old Bob Stafford, I would be willing to bet he didn’t think of this when he wrote the Stafford Act.
The Stafford Act one of the great thrillers of our time!
Get the popcorn ready. Coffee flavored?

The corrupt so-called objective media is a nice poodle to own.
Whenever Republicans get nervous, they bring up Rev Wright or stuff from the past that’s already been covered. I feel sorry for you guys because your Party is slowly but surely dying out.
If 21 embassys were being attacked during the Bush administration it would be the lead item on every station not Romney hazing 40 years ago or some dog in a kennel on a roof.

I feel sorry for you, you can be blinded by a demigod with a smooth delivery. I knew he was a con man the first time I heard his empty rhetoric.
Didn’t Mitt Romney host this man in his speech and therefore proud of his support ? Where is the outrage Hannity ?

No Apple I can’t confirm whether or not he was on or off script. In either case is irrelevant. The two minutes are not a smoking gun or the Romney campaign would have claimed it was significant. They do not . So it reasonable to infer that the two minutes were insignificant.

Falwell is dead! I don’t know how much his endorsement will help.
“The corrupt so-called objective media is a nice poodle to own.”

Blah blah blah. Fails to respond to what I said, just empty platitudes. You’re living in a bubble, while arrogantly assuming the mantle of ‘real America,’ assuming that other voters must surely react to things (such as that video) in the same way as you do. They didn’t, and they don’t. Not a single vote is going to go to Romney on the basis of that video – NOT ONE. The only voters that care about that fluff are the people who were never, ever going to vote for Obama. It’s not the media, it’s not mind control; It’s a bad candidate, selling bad ideas, appealing to an ever shrinking demographic.
What the hell is the GOP going to do when Texas goes blue within the next decade (yes, this is a thing that’s going to happen)? Especially with a tremendously deluded base that, far from learning the lessons of this election, will likely come to the conclusion that what they need is “a real conservative,” and thus they shift the Overton Window even further right. Clueless, hopeless.

Read my earlier posts they go into extensive detail about President Obama’s speech.
@ Sicilian ,
“Falwell is dead! I don’t know how much his endorsement will help”
I was referring to Pat who in addition said divorce your wife if she has Alzheimer and beat your wife if she is not obeying… What kind of American values are these ? How will Romney ever get women’s votes if he is campaigning with Pat Robertson ?

Matthew
The rumors of our demise are surly overblown!
I’m not responding specifically to how you feel about the speech, I’m responding to the presumption that, somehow, Obama snuck into the White House because voters don’t know the ‘real Obama.’ My point is that a majority of people just really don’t care – It’s not “what did you say in college” or “what did you say five years ago;” It’s “what have you done for me lately,” and “what are you going to do for me tomorrow.” It’s not that the public is being duped, it’s that they just don’t agree with you.
FOX smashes MSNBC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!why isn’t this big news?..oh that’s right FOX smashes MSNBC the majority of the time so this isn’t really big news just the normal ratings cycle…MSNBC can only muster an occasional win in some of of their programs in the demo but can’t maintain it or win in the overall ratings.
Obama looks pissed off
CNN is terrible. Terrible.
Right now the score is :
Romney 1 vs Obama 0 for the 1st question
