*NAACP Official: Obama Campaign Threatened Me…

CHICAGO (CBS) — The President of the South Suburban Branch of the NAACP alleges a director of the re-election campaign of Barack Obama has threatened and intimidated him because he doesn’t support the president.

WBBM Newsradio’s Mike Krauser has the exclusive story.

David Lowery says he believes he was threatened during a phone conversation with Louis Raymond, the Illinois political director for Obama for America.

Lowery says he doesn’t personally support the president because he’s not addressing issues important to the black community. He said he was explaining that to Raymond when the Obama campaign official told him, “You know what? I know everything about you.”

Lowery says Raymond added, “We’ve been watching you, and since you don’t support Obama, we’ll deal with you,” before hanging up.

Lowery filed a report with the Oak Forest police report, he says, “in case something happens.”

He says it was suggested the NAACP should automatically back the president. Lowery notes a non-profit cannot support a particular candidate.

Possible New Story about to hit?

A brewing political scandal regarding potentially illegal campaign donations is threatening to cause even more problems for President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign, the Washington Examiner reports.

The Washington Examiner, citing “knowledgeable sources,” reports that a national magazine and a national web site are preparing to run a bombshell donor scandal story that President Obama and his campaign have been trying to keep under wraps.

However, a “key source” reportedly said the story could be published on Friday or this upcoming Monday.

According to the sources, a taxpayer watchdog group conducted a nine-month investigation into presidential and congressional fundraising and has uncovered thousands of cases of credit card solicitations and donations to Obama and Capitol Hill, allegedly from unsecure accounts, and many from overseas. That might be a violation of federal election laws.

The Obama campaign has received hundreds of millions in small dollar donations, many via credit card donations through their website. On Thursday, the campaign announced a record September donor haul of $150 million.

I am not surprised Coffee and I don’t like saying it this way but they will not tolerate any black person going off the plantation. I get so angry because certain parts of the left do this and get away with it. I am not indicting all progressives but we are held responsible for the actions of our fringe. The difference is our people as a group are convicted by the lib. media for the actions of our fringe. This story will never see the light of day in the national lib. media.

    @Sicilian Papa

I think something bigger could be this donor scandle, I’m trying to trace more information on it. If this comes out and is true, it could have been a distraction.

For about 2 weeks there was some buzz about a donor scandle brewing but I couldn’t figure out if it was against Romney or Obama camps. Looks like if there is one it could be against Obama’s camp.

Have to wait and see I guess, seems to be a lid on it except for the pre hype. Here is all I can find on it for now

I’m outta here for tonight, everyone have a good one

We don’t think the lib. media will touch it. We may be able to expose it but not having a fair media hurts. Yeah, if it’s true it’s bad. It would really hurt a Republican.

Catching up on the days events and it has certainly been interesting to say the least. Crazy numbers for Fox. That is the channel I watched it on. The MSNBC pundits are not handling it well based on their vulgar behavior. They keep saying Romney’s lies without having any proof. I read a couple of fact checkers that stated Obama’s numbers about the $5trillion tax cut don’t add up and yet Schultz keeps screaming he lied! he lied!

  • Letmethink

d.d.— worry about Boss also. Feel like I know him and worry about not hearing from him. Hope all is OK with him. Disagree with all the libs on this site but like them all–especially Boss.
Just got in from wedding rehearsal dinner. Sad without my son’s dad being there but a very touching night.
After the debate, I am feeling much better—like there may be hope. I have never been a Romney fan but am an anti-obama person. I am encouraged with Romney’s performance. Just catching up on the posts for today. Loved them all. Pappa, you are on a roll. Everything you said is exactly how I feel but you say it much better. Don’t remember who said that to liberals obama’s stale farts are like a breath of fresh air—I laugh about that every time I think of it. Night all–will ck back in Sunday.

Ralph Hahn – @Doug Z: It’s not much difference between a “dave” posting and a “Dave posting.” But, whoever has taken control, is using both my first and last names. HOW is this possible?

Just put Ralph Hahn in the “Name (required) box.” Put a picture on your profile problem solved.

The Little General aka Ross Perot is back. IMO he had a good chance of winning when he ran. I don’t think he really wanted the job. He just didn’t want the elder Bush to be re-elected.

Former presidential contender and billionaire Ross Perot is worried that America is a sitting duck for an unnamed foreign invader. In an interview for his new autobiography, Perot said the nation’s weak economy has left us open for a hostile takeover—and neither presidential candidate is the man to save the country.

I love the spin coming from Obama and Biden. “Romney is walking away from the centerpiece of his plan…” “That was not the real Romney…” et cetera. Good Gravy. Obama says Romney’s tax cuts add up to $5 trillion, Romney says no they don’t, then Obama says Romney is not the real Romney. Uhm. Oooohhkaaay.
