What happened was, after the 2008 crash and the recession starting and Gas a few months before at above 4 a gallon and yes, Bushes screw-ups, the country wasn’t in a good mood.

McCain actually was leading in the polls but as the market crash took hold, the nation had had enough.

My whole problem with Then Senator Obama was his lack of experience and some of his background. As Hillary said about him “This is not a job for on the job training” No background in any kind of business, or running a business, or even an executive level experience in anything.

His charm swept the country but the nation wasn’t thinking clearly. BO was the most inexperienced person to even run for office, except Dan Qualye. (VP)

He wasn’t vetted, and the MSM was just excited as all of us were even if we wasn’t going to vote for him we were excited at the prospect and African-American could hold the office and show the world, we had come a long way.

IMHO, he just wasn’t ready or the one that should have been elected. We are now in the longest period of a recovery in our history. He claims the GOP is blocking everything? Every objective person knows that simply isn’t true, you can’t expect people working with you if you block them from even consultations on Bills and compromise.

    Have a good day.

    @Coffee Steve
About the mood of the country in 2008..

Yeah, I see your point. I guess my dismay is that Obama’s inexperience is only icing on the cake to his history of affiliations with shady people. I admit that I was also excited about the prospects of a black man as President and hoped that Obama would not do what I feared he would. I was wrong. He’s only touched the surface in promoting his share-the-wealth agenda. A second-term? Wow. Like you said, he claims the GOP is blocking everything. Mr. Reid has not allowed a budget bill onto the Senate floor for 3-1/2 years, except Obama’s very own budget, which only received a couple votes. If I’m not mistaken, is not the Senate led by Democrats? (rhetorical) Geesh.

  • Coffee Steve

Mr. Reid has not allowed a budget bill onto the Senate floor for 3-1/2 years

I cannot believe that isn’t in the media. Its disgusting. Also I just read my email from the trading site I used to deal with, Un-Emplyment number this morning they expect to rise, and the jobs report will be futher proof another recession is soon upon us.

They expect only around 100,000 jobs created but that will be offset bu the 370,000 new jobless claims from yesterday.

  • Coffee Steve

PS: People forget but they couldn’t even pass a budget when they had BOTH houses.

  • TwilightZone

About the unemployment rate, new jobs, and jobless claims:

    <— satire.

Well, to give Mr. Reid some credit, in April of 2010, before the Congressional upset in the House, Obama's very own budget (minus some minor points) passed the Senate Budget ommittee for a vote on the main floor and only received a couple of votes. Same for the House. To avoid further embarrassment Mr. Reid has rejected all subsequent budget proposals. But this isn't important. Big Bird is much much more important.

Just don’t show him the bacon prices LOL

  • TwilightZone

If by the grace of God Mr. Obama loses his job, on day 1 Romney will be busy repealing Obamacare and negotiating with leadership of both Houses as discussed in Wednesday’s debate. On day 2, he needs needs to prod Mr. Reid with a hot branding iron into the Senate Budget Committee chambers to wait for a budget proposal before making any more ‘Romney didn’t pay his taxes’ speeches.

  • sunshine

During the debate Obumbles mentioned Ryan’s budget. He actually mentioned it a couple times and I was dying to hear Romney fire back about 3 1/2 yrs with NO budget! :(

  • d.d.

Good morning. Great early group! I’m waiting on the jobs report & then I have to leave.

The Administration supported the Arab Spring. Many analysts could foresee the results …. the law of unintended consequences. Is America better, or, worse now ?

Report: USDA Diversity Training Session Included Chants Declaring Founding Fathers “Illegal Immigrants”…

    Fox News

The U.S. government paid a Chicago consultant $ 200,000 + dollars to put on diversity training workshops that, according to one watchdog, included an exercise in which employees were told to chant “our forefathers were illegal immigrants.” The USDA later confirmed that amount.

Judicial Watch made the claim this week as it released a handful of documents pertaining to the program — and alleged that the sessions ended up enforcing political views more than promoting tolerance.

One session in which the speaker led workers in chanting “our forefathers were illegal immigrants” while pounding on the table and getting others in the room to join in.

    Pounding on the table ?

Oh, I have a feeling it will at the VP debate

With Turkey, Egypt, Iran, Sudan, Syria, Israel, Libya looming the Arab Spring will in time become the Summer Of Nightmare’s. It’s aticking time bomb even more than it has been in years past.

Iran has troops in Syria, Turkey has evoked article 4 of the NATO treaty. Just a matter of time.

*Top Obama Fundraiser Behind Release 2 Days Before Election…

Seal Team Six: The Raid on Osama bin Laden,” from The Weinstein Co. and Voltage Pictures, will air Sunday, Nov. 4, the channel said Thursday. President Barack Obama faces Republican challenger Mitt Romney at the polls two days later.

Weinstein co-chairman Harvey Weinstein is a prominent fundraiser for Obama’s re-election campaign, which has touted bin Laden’s death as an example of the president’s leadership.

National Geographic Channel chose the film’s debut date to help promote the start of its fall season, channel President Howard T. Owens said Thursday.

“Harvey obviously doesn’t schedule our network,” Owens said. He added that the channel is “not political. We are opportunistic from a programming perspective.”

I’m waiting for the Romney Kills BigBird film to come out the day before the election :-)
