CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD was the #1 Sunday morning news program in households, viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sept. 30, 2012. CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.5/10 with 5.02m viewers and a 1.3/06 in adults 25-54. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was even in both households and viewers.
CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted its best audience delivery since June 10, 2012.
Sunday’s broadcast featured Susan Spencer’s report on how smart phones - devices designed to connect people - may actually be leaving them more disconnected than ever. Also on the broadcast was Bob Schieffer’s look at how debates give Americans insight into a candidate’s character; Tracy Smith’s profile of actress Elizabeth Banks; Rita Braver’s visit with acting legend Ed Asner; and Lee Cowan’s interview with Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, the creators of the comedy.
